Did anime ever change your mind about something? My experience with anime changed my mind about Tennis, thanks to Prince of Tennis. I didn't really like it before and now I enjoy watching it. I hate American football with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns but I'm going to give Eyeshield 21 a try.

Well, if this makes any sense, anime changed my mind about what anime could be. Or rather, a specific anime did: Fruits Basket. It was the first series I had come across that focused on romance and character relationships rather than focusing on action the entire time. Up until that point, the only anime I'd seen were basically shounen series, with action around every corner (DBZ or any other series shown on Toonami way back when). (There was also Sailor Moon, but that also seemed like an action series to me--to some degree.) Because of this, it felt very weird watching Fruits Basket for the first time, but it also showed me that there are very different types of anime out there.

I Don't think it has... or I can't remember a time where it has changed my mind.

But it has cultivated some inspirations in me... like a sense of adventure... (But this is already part of my personality... I like travelling and going on adventures).

Yeah oh my god. I recently watched '5 Centimeters per Second' and wow. It really left me speechless and actually did change my view on a few things in my life at the moment. It was also one of the most beautifulest animations I've watched in a while!

Yes, when I played basketball before watching Kuroko's Basketball I didn't really get that much into it but after watching it I get really into it.

Hokuto no Ken, Fullmetal Alchemist, DBZ and Black Jack made me rethink manliness and what it's really about, because of Kenshiro, Edward Elric, Vegeta and Black Jack.

just because you can't figure out how to have a power level over 9000 and shoot fireballs from your hands, or aren't able to pilot a mechanical suit/transforming spaceship doesn't mean that the rest of us can't. Perhaps you should stop blaming anime and try harder. (joking... joking)
