Fireball is not a real whiskey which is why they spelling on the bottle is whisky . Its soooo good though chilled shots are good and if you have some angry orchard(or any other cider) try it with a shot of fireball you won't regret it.

Not exactly the same scenario, but quite similar.

In Sydney, you can't buy alcohol from the BOTTLESHOP after 10PM anymore. I'm a non-drinker and I feel like this law is so stupid and nazi-ish. What next? You'll have to stay in your home by 10PM...

What other country has this law besides Australia? I've asked a few people... and their country doesn't have this stupid law. It's insane, i'm telling you.

I prefer a nice bourbon, but Fireball tastes pretty good. I'm bummed that we still can't get authentic absinthe here in the States--the stuff that helped kill all my favorite poets (yeah, I'm a Decadent!). Ours is a watered-down fake, and a bad one at that (no thujone=no love)!

Yes! If I were to ever drink anything, it would be absinthe.. It helps if you understand wormwood and its effects.. Wormwood is quite an interesting herb if used right.

Well, in the States there are many "dry counties" in which the manufacture, distribution, importation, and sale of alcoholic beverages are prohibited or tightly restricted. Some places can't make micro-brews, some don't sell alcohol past certain times, some won't even sell during weekends. etc.

Yeah.. The main reason it prolly has a bad rep is because wormwood is not good to take in large doses, or taken for extended periods of time.. If you are going to drink absinthe, it shouldn't be a whole lot, and it should only be done rarely.. It is understandable so many artists and writers liked it though (probably ended up overusing it, because of this fact..) because wormwood has a very interesting effect, mentally speaking.. It can really open you up.. But also at the same time gives you a special type of a buzz.. Not really sure how to explain it... Kind of makes things feel more lucid/vivid.. (I've had a little bit of first-hand experience with this herb.. Just a little bit though.. Lol) that goes to say.. I would love to try true, pure absinthe.. Doubt I ever will though.

I wiki'd it. Apparently it's a star or angel mentioned in it during the apocalypse. Not a good thing.

Hahaha.. Yeah. A star.. I think it was partly mentioned since it is one of the most bitter tasting herbs too.. You wouldn't be able to drink a whole lot of water if it all tasted like wormwood.. So people would probably begin to die of dehydration(and possibly from throwing all the water they drank, back up..) .. Not really sure though, since I haven't really looked that far into that scripture..

Wow. Propylene Glycol is the main ingredient in Antifreeze. Its used in many Other things but at very small quantities. With that, I can see why it's banned.
