If this is in fact true, I feel so sorry for the people in countries it's banned in. Fireball is the best! (especially sitting around a campfire)

I like rum and so I don't feel strongly about this one way or the other. However, I felt compelled to post.

I like rum, too. Arrrrrgg!!!

EDIT: I lied. I don't drink rum, but I drink beer. This post is proof of my current beer drinking status. I'm drinking something called "Grand Cru", by North Coast Brewing Co. ALC./VOL. 12.9%

What's banned in one country is legal in another. It's just odd standards based on almost no research.

Not a fan of flavored whiskey. Flavored rum and vodka.... like that stuff...

Cinnamon isn't one of my favorite flavors in large doses anyway.

The EU has banned a number of substances that are deemed safe here in the USA....

Here in the USA they have banned certain energy drink-alcohol beverages because people were ingesting toxic amounts of alcohol when they drank more than one container of the beverages....

Obviously nobody one here vapes. Seriously I expected at least one to have chimed in.

As some one else mentioned Propylene Glycol (PG) is not anti freeze.

PG is the base ingredient for most commercial e-liquids

That is a (very annoying) misconception, leading to misinformed people telling you you're inhaling antifreeze.

Personally I can't stand PG, but there are people that have been inhaling it on a daily basis for the better part of a decade.

I just brought a Costco sized bottle of Fireball Whisky (1.7L) to Sweden. My husband is stoked since it's now illegal!

I prefer a nice bourbon, but Fireball tastes pretty good. I'm bummed that we still can't get authentic absinthe here in the States--the stuff that helped kill all my favorite poets (yeah, I'm a Decadent!). Ours is a watered-down fake, and a bad one at that (no thujone=no love)!

Yes! If I were to ever drink anything, it would be absinthe.. It helps if you understand wormwood and its effects.. Wormwood is an quite an interesting herb if used right.

I've never had absinthe before, it's to bad it has a bad reputation.

Yeah.. The main reason it prolly has a bad rep is because wormwood is not good to take in large doses, or taken for extended periods of time.. If you are going to drink absinthe, it shouldn't be a whole lot, and it should only be done rarely.. It is understandable so many artists and writers liked it though (probably ended up overusing it, because of this fact..) because wormwood has a very interesting effect, mentally speaking.. It can really open you up.. But also at the same time gives you a special type of a buzz.. Not really sure how to explain it... Kind of makes things feel more lucid/vivid.. (I've had a little bit of first-hand experience with this herb.. Just a little bit though.. Lol) that goes to say.. I would love to try true, pure absinthe.. Doubt I ever will though.

Long-term effects of thujone (from the wormwood) are quite debilitating and even deadly--but the poetry that the Green Fairy has inspired! She is a wondrous muse, and I sometimes doubt that the Decadent movement of the late Victorian period would have even occurred without her harsh but loving guidance. Disciples such as Ernest Dowson morbidly but willingly sacrificed themselves on her altar for the sake of art.

fireball isnt all that bad though...im not the biggest fan of cinnamon, which is why i dont like it, but i have a lot of friends who drink that as their preference because it isnt as harsh to put down and they enjoy the cinnamon flavor..
