Hmm hard to say with anime... probably anything in my top 20.

Manga... I would put it up to FMA or Kimi ni Todoke, as they are the ones I have the most of manga wise, i'd say Fairy Tail but I am not dedicated really to that since I only have about half of the series.

Probably Naruto back when I was around 11 and it first appeared on Toonami with a bunch of other anime. That's what really got me going.

I was overwhelmed with feels when they brought Toonami back. XD

For me, it would be: Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball and Yuyu Hakusho. I can't really remember which one I read first but it is such a sweet memory spending hours everyday reading those mangas during summer vacation when I was just a worry-free student at elementary school.

Fullmetal Alchemist, for sure. I've read the manga three times, and watched the Brotherhood anime at least seven times. And I'm not even close to being tired of it. I don't have that much merchandise or anything from it, but at least i have all the books and Blu-rays. I don't think I'll remove it as my No.1 series, ever.

Even though the plot was basically completely erased from the original Go Lion, the first anime I had probably got into as a kid was Voltron. I hadn't the faintest idea that it originated from Japan, and I'm not sure if it really counts. The first series that I knew was anime was probably Dragonball Z. At the time there was nothing like it, and I was lucky enough to have a friend that picked up the fansubs on VHS and got to watch the Cell and Buu sagas before they were dubbed. It's ridiculous how much easier it is now to get your anime. It's insane what I paid for my Eva tapes.

thought it was gonna be Fairy Tail, cuz it was my first; i was reading all that fanfiction, looking at fanart, etc for a while, but between the nakama power and the exorbitant amount of ecchi i got tired of it after a while.

but i think the one manga/anime i'll always be a fan of for as long as i love anime is Gintama. The first anime merchandise I've bought was Gintama. I've even bought a fanart book. Even written fanfiction (cuz i can't art). Would totally buy the manga/dvds if they were licensed in English.

I guess the first anime that really drew me in was Tenchi in Tokyo. They even re-released all the series (at least the ones that matter: muyo!, universe, and tokyo) recently, and I got them from Amazon. Even to this day, they're the only harem anime that are really worth a damn.

That said, it was good ole Cowboy Bebop that introduced me to the more mature side of it. Ironically, I think I only got into it because of Ein. My family had just got a corgi then, so I was pretty psyched.

Robotech then '95 Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Now I have crammed all 383 episodes of Naruto into 2 1/2 months.
