Hey, so i'm a 20 year old guy living in SoCal and i'm looking for some people to have conversations with. I don't have very many friends in the area who enjoy anime as much as I do, so like anyone else in the world I go to the internet for solutions. I'll just start off with a few things, I love Gurren Lagann. Its currently my all time favorite, I love how the over the top it is, the art and the idea that anything is possible. I love romantic comedies, slice of life and am guilty of enjoying the mainstream goodness. I am pretty into Pokemon, master breeder among my friends. I'd like to hear from other fans, tell me a little about you and the things you enjoy. The purpose of this thread is for peeps to talk and maybe continue through other media, simply put: lets make some friends!

Sorry to have to say this, but personal threads aren't allowed on the forums. You could try some groups, or http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-835475/the-fraaaandship-thread

Hi,

Sorry for the close, but uho is correct, personal threads like this are against the rules. But there are plenty of places to meet people around here! The Fraaaaandship thread he linked is a great place to start, or /forumtopic-3/introductions. There's lots of groups to just talk otaku talk, or for specific shows - see if any of them appeal over at /groups. You might find things of interest under Just for Fun or Anime, so check both. I know there are a couple of TTGL groups, but the ones I know of haven't been very active lately. There may very well be others by now, though!

Hope that helps some,
-Makoto
