Synopsis

Welcome to the Ability Society. A futuristic world where no one has an advantage from the abilites they were born with, because you can easily download abilites. These downloadable abilites, called "Labels," will give you the skills to do just about anything. From driving a car to making pottery, the sky's the limit. But there's just one problem--they don't work for Heita Jugojo. How can a guy with no abilities survive in a world where everybody's an "expert?" Find out in this offbeat sci-fi story!

Nice news is that Viz's English-language WSJ is including this too. I've enjoyed it so far. (But am a little disappointed they won't be keeping one of the other titles they were trying out, Judos).

Anyway, a big appeal of Hi-Fi Cluster is the characters, and they've done a nice job pulling the story together with character introductions through action. I'll keep reading.

According to the English SJ editors in their weekly podcast, they plan on doing 1 chapter next week and catching up with Japan in 2 weeks. Likely because next week will be a big enough week with 2 chapters of Naruto and the monthly's from Jump Square they do.
