As the title suggests, can you sing well?
If you can't, do you wish you could?
Do you believe anyone is capable of attaining a good singing voice?

I sing horribly, often told to shut up.
I wish I could.
I'm not sure, haven't witnessed it being done.

I'm a terrible singer.
I wouldn't mind being a good singer.

I was much more introverted back when I was in school so I would never attempt to sing but I have had breath training so that I can hold notes clearly and longer with instruments. If I had any vocal training at all I am confident that I would have been able to sing well. I might actually engage in some self training sessions after I re attain my cardiovascular efficiency with a resting heart rate near 50. The only thing I really lack is a way to train without bothering anyone else.

You can achieve greatness in just about anything you can train for and that includes voice training and singing. It may not make you "elite" but proper training and effort will get you far.

I am no singer and I'm fine with that, it's not my cup of tea.
I do think that voice control is a skill that can be learned.

I sang as part of a chamber and show choir at my highschool. We'd go to competitions, local and national, and did very well. I guess individually, I was considered pretty good. Since it pretty much my only "thing" back in high school I was really motivated from the beginning to be looked up to and eventually lead the group. It was probably the most rewarding time I've spent on something, but I haven't followed up on any adult groups or singing opportunities since though. It actually feels like a big hole in life right now, with nowhere to perform or groups to sing with, and right now it's just me singing at my house or sometimes in public if I'm walking and not feeling too embarrassed.

I was part of the choir at my highschool through grades 10 and 11, but I'm not doing it this year due to pressure of classes getting a little bit too much. Although, yeah, I can sing a little. But nothing close to stage performing, hell no.

I certainly wish I could, but I can't really be bothered to learn. I can do instrumental stuff, even write lyrics, but I can't do the singing; which is kind of a bummer but oh well, you make do. I mean, I can hit the notes, and transition into falsetto, but my voice isn't nice or anything.

I can sing on time with the music, but I have trouble with pitch and loudness control. On the higher notes, I can't help but sound really loud, i'm trying to sound as soft as possible, I want to control my high notes. I also prefer being able to sound soft as my voice sounds more rounded and with resonance. I hate sounding loud because it feels like I'm screaming and my voice sounds thin and out of control.

I like my deep notes; it's very rounded and resonant. I believe my golden notes are the lower ones. I can express much more emotions and it sounds very smooth.

Whitney Houston said singing was like talking for her...

...for me singing is like trying to juggle 5 balls while doing maths at the same time. It's extremely hard to be able to sing with emotions and get the pitch right.

I can sing okay. I used to sing really good, until I stopped practicing and now my voice cracks every 30 seconds.
