Poor character development, way too many small children fall in love with the MC, and nobody that dies had enough development or character interaction to make their death mean anything to me as a viewer. Everyone in the show was distraught and I couldn't care less. It also got progressively worse as the show went on, making me dread each episode. It's one of few shows I've rated 1/10.

As horrid as that show was, the school bombing really got me for some reason.

Very rarely do I actually feel strong displeasure for something in an anime, but seeing all those little girls lying dead just hit a chord in me.

All butthe very minor characters were well developed in my eyes. Also, you have some issues on your views of love. They loved him like an older brother, not like a lover (Tina Sprout making those jokes aside)

I do not have issues on my views of love. An entire class of little girls wanted to marry him when they grew up. That's absurd. We clearly have different standards of quality.

Awesome, that's kinda the response I was hoping for in this topic. That's a great way of phrasing how I think a lot of us feel. I think that all anime is good in some way, even if it's just making other anime look better. Like Tamaki from Bamboo Blade says "there is no bad anime, all anime is good."

I've never finished something that I hated watching. Even if it was bad, I still enjoyed watching it if I watched it to the end.
The most regrettable choice was Naruto Shippuden. I mean, the first arc was awesome, but I watched to like episode 45 or so. I ragequit after a 45 minute double-length episode where Naruto and Orochimaru were on a bridge and literally the ENTIRE 45 minutes was
a) growling and glaring
b) a flashback (usually to 5 episodes ago)
The. Whole. Time.
I then switching to reading the manga, which was much less painful.

Ergo Proxy- I nearly stopped watching anime all together cause of how pissed I was at this show. I wanted to love this show and I did, till it hit about 3/4s into it. Than it basically slowly cranked the middle finger at me.

You're right. I just get tired of it and the same goes for English Dub hate threads too.

Next we will have an "I hate hate threads" and then "I hate pointless threads". Oops! We're there.

I have actually. Don't make assumptions about my life please. It doesn't lend anything toward convincing me that show isn't horrible.

Very often, little girls will say they want to marry their brothers or fathers, it's not sexual at all...

The way you stated that the little girls liked him made it seem like you saw it as sexual.
