Do we know what's replacing Attack on Titan on Toonami? Funimation might try one of these dub simulcasts with that. Psycho Pass is getting that much closer to being on Toonami!

Nothing is for now. Attack on Titan is being broadcast again.

True, though I don't know if it'd be such a good idea for Psycho Pass to be there.

While Psycho Pass has been a really popular series, the thing is, the first season hasn't even aired yet on Toonami (as far as I know). Because of that, Toonami fans who haven't seen the first season of Psycho Pass would be at a great disadvantage and would receive spoilers if they haven't already seen the first season. Due to that I think the chances of them putting season 2's dub on air immediately are pretty slim.

Now, with the other anime, it's possible.

I might give Psycho Pass 2 Dub a try after watching the first season. Not sure what else to think about this though atm.

I think it has to do with Toonami not having another (I guess you could say) "Main event" type of anime to replace AoT... I'm sure as soon as they get the rights to another big anime, they will push AoT back or stop airing it, for a while...

What I meant was airing Psycho Pass as a whole since by the time season 1 finishes, they would already have season 2 ready. Didn't know they would put AoT on rerun. First they did it to Space Dandy and now this? It doesn't look like we're getting another Funimation show any time soon.

I just see it as now you'll be able to enjoy bad dubs the same week as subs instead of waiting months for them. So you have a VA that doesn't match the character, brings no emotions out and in general bland and you wonder how they were assigned the role? Well no problem, now you can get it out of your system right off the back instead of waiting 12 months for a set release.

Now if they get off their asses and get more of their titles up on Google Play I'd be happier since Sentai/Anime Network seems to be dumping all the decent titles from the past year there awfully fast while Funi I think the last was the AoT drop from a year ago.

If Hanazawa Kana is voicing anyone, a dub is necessarily superfluous. Otherwise, happy to see that this is a thing now. I'll probably be keeping on with the Japanese though.

If the dub is as good as the Space Dandy one, I will totally watch the dub.

People are already saying ''but that means the dubs will suck since they have less prep time'' which is likely wrong. Case in point: Space Dandy.

If that thing works, it will help the western anime industry plenty. Now we just need to find ways to stop piracy.

Hopefully it means more work for current VAs and more opportunities for potential VAs to make a name for themselves.

Nah, english dubs suck.

Japanese audio ftw.

Pathetic.

There are many excellent English dubs (and yes, dubs in other languages as well), many of which are actually better than the original Japanese - even agreed upon by actual Japanese people.

Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, 12 Kingdoms, Princess Tutu, Space Dandy, the new Sailor Moon dub, Hetalia, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Inuyasha, Witch Hunter Robin, Magic Knight Rayearth, xxxholic...Excellent dubs just to name a few from the top of my head.

I think several Japanese people put it best when they said they couldn't understand why dubs got hate when many of them were good. Answer? Weebos.
