People assume I'm something I'm not a lot of the time. That just because I'm white, young, at least moderately attractive, and live in a city of minorities I'd treat people like crap because "I'm better than them". But that's never, ever been the case. I don't have a racist bone in my being, and don't feel being a lighter skin color makes me better than anyone, ever.

Yeah, I don't really see any racism where I live. There's just so much racial diversity, I guess everyone just kind of stopped paying attention to race entirely.

Still a few Europeans mustering up nationalist hatred toward Americans, Chinese, Russians, British, whoever they feel like putting down at the time, but for the most part I think we might be growing out of that ethnic/racial superiority crap as a whole.

I remember when I wanted to be thuggish but that's kinda it. I'm Chinese, Vietnamese, and Cambodian so I think I'm good where I'm at. Race doesn't matter to me and I could care less about tradition and culture.

I'm happy with the way I am, and, provided I still live in a fair society, I think I'd be just as happy if I had a different skin color or ethnicity.

What's really important is who you are on the inside.

Well both my sisters have lighter skin than I do.
I'am more of a Cocoa Brown while they both have the same Caramel/tanish skin tone.

Its hard to get others to acknowledge us as sisters even though we all have very similar features.
When I was in elementary and middle school I wanted to be lighter to get people to acknowledge me
and my sisters as siblings.

It hasn't really bothered me since then though.

"Happy" with it is odd phrasing, but I'm content with it, no un/happiness involved. Then again, I'm vampire-looking and blonde, so what do I know, right? :P

At the end of the day, there isn't a bad skin color and it's something you can't -really- change, so might as well be happy with it.

Happy enough being what I am. I do wish I was part of a more cultural country though.
