Just so long as they know it won't last for anything more than a few months after they realise there's more to a relationship than bonking each other.

I'm younger than most of the people on this site. But I would bet that I'm more mature than over half of them. I'm mature for my age. I can handle most situations very well. I take on a lot of responsibility at home, and that has helped mature me. I don't sit on my ass at home all day playing videos games and smoking pot because I'm too lazy to get a job, nor do I go out partying and trying all sorts of drugs at night like most people my age.

Although, personally, I have enjoyed dates with women who were basically lazy, immature assholes who exaggerated how drunk they were and talked about their pets too much. It's just spending an evening with a silly person, not like we're marrying anyone.

But yeah, I've met some kids who were at least as mature and responsible as I am, if not moreso. No sense telling them what they should or shouldn't do since they've got things so figured out.

Never really bothered with dating in high school. The only thing I probably felt was lust and that's about it. I've seen middle school kids with boyfriends and girlfriends and telling each how much the "love" each other. My sister even tells me about all those kids in her middle boyfriends/ girlfriends. It's funny.

Haven't dated myself so I don't really know if my opinion has any weight to it, but I say 'who cares?'. If two teenagers date in what way would that affect me? Chances are that it wont =|

Now if we could stop teenagers from having sex and popping kids at 16, that would be great indeed.

If anything, dating in high school only raises your exp. The majority of high school girls are just.. girls. Irresponsible and immature. Women are the chosen ones.

I wasn't interested in those relationships at all back then and I probably still aren't..

Atleast not directly; I mean that I never really tried to get a relationship with someone because I didn't and still never have fallen in love.

So I don't know how it feels; I'll just see if I ever experience it and if I don't, I wouldn't know what I would have missed.

So It'll be good either way.. Though I must admit I'm curious.

*shrug* as long as they aren't playing tonsil hockey right in my face, I don't care.
Life in involves a lot of mistakes and many of them you'll make as a young person.
Unless I'm their parent, I don't get a say in what they do.
If specifically asked, I'd say 'Wear Personal Protective Equipment to avoid biological hazards.'

I honestly don't care what other people do. In the end, whatever decision you made, you'll look back on it and say "Wow that was dumb". Might as well make stupid mistakes now rather than later. As long as no one gets knocked up...

I do believe people can have serious relationships in high school, though. It's just unlikely. Middle school? Probably not. Gotta figure out the whole puberty thing first.

So elementary school was cooties phase, and I actually think everyone, or at least me, has somehow blocked middle school years out of my memory. So in my opinion, high school age is a pretty good age to start dating. 'Course they young and stupid at times, but high school is the age where you make mistakes and learn about them.
