I took part of it because I really like the clothes but I was pressured for a while to stop because I was always acting so happy and "it didn't look right". So I started wearing more colorful clothes and I haven't really stopped since. There are still some of those clothes in my closet but I probably can't fit them anymore.

People used to call me "emo", some friends from that time still do as a running joke. I didn't know about "emos" at that point, but I did have long hair the covered my eye, or eyes at times. I had long hair not because of the fad, but because I hated how I looked with short hair. Short hair looks ridiculously stupid on me. Some people in my class were into that "emo" faze and liked that screamo music. I personally hated it. People would try to pick on me for being "emo" and said I probably listened to screamo, self harmed and all the other sterotypes. So one day I just unplugged my headphones when they were targeting me, and classical piano came out, next some really happy k-pop song came on. I showed them my arms and simply said "I have no cuts, simply because I don't like pain."

It doesn't really bother me anymore, I have flippy hair, so it's hard to be branded "emo" even when my hair covers an eye. Plus, it just came to a point where I didn't care for negative opinions anymore, so just ignored the people throwing the negativity around.

Such a weird fashion tread. Sagging has been around for years.

For me it started when i was in middle school. I knew so many fake ass people that dressed and acted like that just to fit in somewhere. They weren't even really emo but they still cut themselves. The girls I know that still do it are mainly insta-w**res that try desperately to be suicide girls.

I remember the pre-sagging days... and the beginning of the sagging days...

I believe sagging originated from prison.
