Cool!

Well...I don't know what this Thread was meant to be about after OP made HIS Post, but I see Sonic the Hedgehog. And We're in the Music Forum...So while I'm here, I'd like to share with You My top 5 All-Time favorite Sonic the Hedgehog tunes. They can be from any Sonic Games You like, from any Platform or Console. Mine are Genesis style though...That; those Years, was when Sonic was the UNDISPUTED "King" of Video Game characters - YES, even more so than Mario. At least IMO. I wonder if any of these following tunes will rank among agreeance with Anyone else?

We'll start with #5.

#5:. Okay, so ONE of these DOESN'T come from the Genesis Years, and here it is at #5: "Sky Deck Zone 1" from Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast! Man, I was so excited on 9/9/1999...For teh n00bs, that's the Day the Dreamcast dropped. Not hardly 2 Years later did it ACTUALLY "DROP"...Bad way this time, though. Regardless, Sonic Adventure was a great Game...It was kinda convoluted in parts, but it made an amazing impression on Me being the first Games images My Dreamcast ever flashed up the Screen and brought to Me.

#4: Hmmmmmm. What comes next. Well all 4 of the rest of My choices are Genesis spawn. The aforementioned Dreamcast's "Great, Great Granddaddy", as well as the very FIRST Console asides from the regular NES System, that I...Rather, My PARENTS purchased, as I wasn't but like 10, if even that...But t'was the first System that when was plugged in and those lights flashed upon the Screen, gave Me a sense of awe. So lets go to Sonic 3. In fact...Well, never mind. You'll see. "Ice Cap zone 1" from Sonic 3. DAMN, that level was amazing! You just beat the Carnival stage, and hopped in the cannon at the End...Alluvasudden, the next level Starts! And Sonic's hopped onto a freaking SNOWBOARD right Outta the gate! It was amazing. You'll see in My Epilogue why in fact I feel it's so damned amazing.

#3: We're at #3, but We're not changing Games! Staying at Sonic 3! Okay, to tell the truth, numbers 2, 3 and 4 could each be mixed in different Rankings millions of times. They're all equally incredible and nostalgic. But We'll continue with "Lava Reef zone 2" from Sonic 3. Man. If You've never heard this before, I suggest You go and type it in on YouTube and listen ASAP, cause it's just magical. It's a beautiful...Somewhat hopeful sounding, while at the same time, You can sorta get a sense of anxiety from it. You're almost at the End of the Game, and You're heading Your way to face the penultimate level before hopping on the Death Egg, before Your eventual showdown with Robotnik. Just...Bloody good. Beautiful. Lava Reef's zone 1 is amazing too, but it's more upbeat...The second is more deep, mysterious, lovely, but You can sense the brood in it as well.

#2: Okay. #2. Well, I hate to say this because I'm sure it might chap the super hardcore Old-school Sonic fan a bit the wrong way. But this next tune...Unless You played the Multiplayer mode, You may have gone Your ENTIRE Life without ever having or getting the chance to hear, IMO, One of the most simplistic, yet overly amazing Sonic tunes that there is Out there. I remember listening to this for the first time, and...Well wait...FIRST OFF, We're STAYING with Sonic 3! Amazing, right? You know, Sonic 3 while having ALL of this AMAZING Music...Sonic 3 without the Sonic and Knuckles attachment to it, was HONESTLY One of My LEAST favorite Sonics! However when Sonic and Knuckles is attached, THAT'S when it becomes completely off the wall, Outta the stadium, amazing. So as I said, if You never played the Multiplayer mode on Sonic 3, You would never be privy to hearing this Gem, and One of THE tunes that when I play it these Days...At the right...Or maybe I should say wrong time...But occasionally, even though THIS tune of which I speak is THE most upbeat, quick and fast paced, Song among these five asides from Sky Deck...But that doesn't count, as THAT was actual Musicians playing that. So without further adieu..."Azure Lake Zone" from Sonic 3 is sitting at #2, even though it's not ACTUALLY in the top spot. I dunno about You Guys, but I never played Multiplayer...I remember that I found this tune in the first place by accidentally dropping the Controller and it selected Multiplayer and brought this up. It's One of those tunes that will probably be drifting about in the back of My Mind when I'm on My Deathbed. Yeah, heavy stuff Man. Awesome.

#1: Sonic the Hedgehog, You got lucky. No, I'm not speaking toward the Character Sonic the Hedgehog but the Game, Sonic the Hedgehog....I hated You. Every bit of You. I used to get SO pissed during that Spring Yard Zone and the LABYRINTH ZONE which was the WORST, by far...And...You know something? NO. #1: is OFFICIALLY now "Azure Lake Zone" from Sonic 3! I WAS going to give Sonic the Hedgehog's classic first level "Green Hill Zone" the #1 spot, but to Heck with that! So #1 is officially "Azure Lake/u]". "Green Hill Zone" and classic Sonic the Hedgehog OST, cry in anguish...AND THEN... -- !!! Relief! #2 spot will be filled by Original Sonic's FINAL ZONE Music, and that of course is "Scrap Brain Zone". So, there You have it! My convoluted and crazy fun filled list of Sonic tunes in score from #5 through #1.

Thanks to Whoever gave a Darn enough to Read this.

This is hilarious, but yeah sonic soundtracks are awesome I think my fav sonic was sonic adventure 2 : battle. It had some groovy music, plus it just seemed to mesh well with the stages.
