i got free premium for 30 days and wanted to ask is crunchyroll something to spend 4.99 or 8.99 € a month.
why i'm asking.
from anime i found naruto and parasyte: the maxim are available, but one piece regional blocked. nice, really ?
what about manga i did not found any manga what would currently want to read. naruto, one piece or bleach.
is any of these available or just blocked because of anime member only or regional thing.
android manga app is buggy when i change page is shows new page/image turns black for 1/4 second and image re-appears (annoying blink).
i just thought i could get some answers from here from other people who might already have all acces accounts.

If you have money, yes. Right now, it may be worth it because there's so many titles now that you can view here. However, if you want to just view the older anime titles, I don't think it's worth it. Can't speak for truth since I'm no longer a premium member, but I was for like 3 straight years. If you're in for manga, this ain't the place to be imo.

I think the Premium Membership is worth it since I live in the U.S., but if I lived outside the U.S., I don't think I'd be too fond of paying the same price as those living in the U.S., but for less content. I honestly think those not in the U.S. should be offered a cheaper subscription rate since so many shows are region blocked.

Can't speak on whether the Manga subscription is worth it or not since I don't read Manga or LN's that often.

Price wise, Crunchy's Anime subscription is quite competitive vs. Funimation, HuluPlus, and other "legal" streaming sites.

So,

- Anime subscription worth it if you live in the U.S.
- Anime subscription not worth it if you live outside the U.S.

I find it's worth it. Been a premium member for a long time and they've really gotten a nice amount of stuff. And i've been a crunchyroll member since they picked up naruto way back when DB stopped fansubbing it.
I live in sweden and pretty much the only anime it won't let me watch due to regional stuff is SAO II (1 month extra delay) so i just pirate em. In australia you lack most of the gory animes due to their pussyfooting with 18+ content.

I think the point of the free trial is to make up your own mind.

I feel that it is worth in the larger scale. I used to torrent anime movies, or episodes from 3rd party websites or watch streaming online anime videos with a slightly lower quality. But if you think about it logically, the artists and directors that do the anime we love so much need a way to survive. They write and direct respectively, because they love their jobs, telling stories and it is also a way of making money, income to survive.

We pay crunchy roll to become a premium member because we are allowed to watch these anime shows without penalty. That is because crunchy roll pays for the anime to be on their websites. In a way, we are supporting the artists and directors we love who produce such great animes for us.

Sure we can cheat out of paying and go to another third party website that also has hd videos like kissanime.com but in the end I feel like the only person you're really cheating is yourself. Imo, if there is none who would pay, anime streaming companies like crunchy roll wouldn't exist to pay for the anime. Same with funimation, and in turn the artists and producers whom makes our anime are impacted.

Of course this isn't to say that if you (the sole one person decides not to pay) will effect this entire chain of events. I'm just saying that if everyone had this mentality, the great stories and great production would be undermined.

prove that you love certain anime
prove that you love the people who make them so that you can have more!

but what about manga, free trial doesn't have full access to manga and anime you can watch 24/7 trial, how ads and limited 480p resolution.

I feel it's worth it and I'm not even that big of an anime watcher. But being able to stream the shows on the TV in HD without commercials really makes it worth it, if you ask me. Plus it's very affordable.

so you think i should pay 5 € from 1 series (naruto) after parasyte maxim end and not return to ad version 480p.
i just think if the only series is 1080p version naruto i rather use ad version like before.
cheating? i'm absolutely honest here i'm only ready to pay if can get content.
i already tried to find place to find legal paid streaming for a few years but every place i found block finland completely or best series are behind regional wall .

only cheating is if content creators says people are pirating but same time are blocking series with regional walls

so if i return to ad version and test paid version later again, can somebody tell me is naruto, one piece or bleach available in manga only version?
Posted 11/4/14
if you only get like 20 shows in your country, then maybe not worth it.

it's worth it for me, because i got like 100+ shows in the catalogue in my country (i didn't actually count them, but based on my reviews, i already reviewed 64 titles on CR [i also didn't review everything i've ever watched on CR).

_____

might rub some people the wrong way, so i'm putting my next comment under the spoiler... i don't want to get under anybody's fingernails.

To answer the question about the manga you were having.

CR manga is limited right now, but it isn't a bad deal either. It is slowly growing and there are some good titles in there depending on your tastes.

The ones you were asking about though OP, Naruto, and Bleach are owned and done by WSJ so it is doubtful CR will ever have their hands on them because WSJ is a powerhouse compared to CR so they can easily keep the rights to it.

If you want more action packed manga titles, WSJ is probably a safer bet for legal manga.

For anime. I have to agree with Hairbelly here. As a US citizen it is great as we get like 90% of what CR gets and that last 10% is either FUNi or no one ended up getting.

So if you live in the US I say it is worth it, if not... well that is up to you if it is or not, but I don't think it would be. But my knowledge of what is region locked outside of the US is limited.
