if you only get like 20 shows in your country, then maybe not worth it.

it's worth it for me, because i got like 100+ shows in the catalogue in my country (i didn't actually count them, but based on my reviews, i already reviewed 64 titles on CR [i also didn't review everything i've ever watched on CR).

_____

might rub some people the wrong way, so i'm putting my next comment under the spoiler... i don't want to get under anybody's fingernails.

i would like to pay but regional walls.
i'm doing currently small paid indie game would it be stupid if humble store/widget or steam would give message "regionally blocked". i never seen on steam regionally blocked games it would be stupid.

yeah, i don't understand these "regional" bullsht either. it's just a method of squeezing more money of legit buyers.

i like that music CD's don't have those. wish they'd get rid of these regional restriction business, it's annoying.

To answer the question about the manga you were having.

CR manga is limited right now, but it isn't a bad deal either. It is slowly growing and there are some good titles in there depending on your tastes.

The ones you were asking about though OP, Naruto, and Bleach are owned and done by WSJ so it is doubtful CR will ever have their hands on them because WSJ is a powerhouse compared to CR so they can easily keep the rights to it.

If you want more action packed manga titles, WSJ is probably a safer bet for legal manga.

For anime. I have to agree with Hairbelly here. As a US citizen it is great as we get like 90% of what CR gets and that last 10% is either FUNi or no one ended up getting.

So if you live in the US I say it is worth it, if not... well that is up to you if it is or not, but I don't think it would be. But my knowledge of what is region locked outside of the US is limited.

wsj? Weekly Shonen Jump. blocked, they don't want money :D. yeah it's not available here in finland . tried to install it on android and checked why doesn't work but because of regional block it doesn't work.

You're asking if LEGALLY supporting the Anime and Manga industry is worth it? I'm not even going to waste time with a silly response. YES. A THOUSAND HUNDRED MILLION BAJILLION times, Yes!

Unless you like asian Drama I see absolutely no reason to go premium.
I started out as a premium user from the first day I subscribed to CR and it took me about half a year to realize that I wasn't using anything else, but the Anime part of the subscription.

So yeah, unless you think those are necessary I don't recommend it.

but one piece regional blocked. nice, really ?

Use Media Hint. Its a google chrome extension that allows you to watch anything in the website. ( And dont makes your internet slower). Its free.

And yes, its very worth! Other than helping the actual website, it also lets you watch a variety of anime in Full HD and with no delay or ads. Also, You can read the manga available depending on your plan, even though the manga are not top, There are some fun ones and the quality is awesome. In my opinion:

- You have spare money: Yes, Subscribe.
- You Dont have spare money: Stop buying useless shit and subscribe.
- You dont like to pay to watch something that you can easily find for free in the internet: Buy, because of the quality and NO ADS 2g.
- BUY.

current media hint is paid but it is still possible to find free version around web and stop buying useless shit. sorry but all extra money what i can get currently saving because looking new place to move. but i still have time to make decision like 29 days.

Nothing as far as I know.

I think the value of Crunchyroll is something you have to decide for yourself. I find it worth it.

It isn't a method of squeezing more money out of legit buyers. It costs a lot of money to be able to get the licensing in all areas, and for some shows it costs a lot more than others. So it all depends on how much CR can spend on licensing from season to season and what shows they think would be good to bring to what regions vs what shows they just absolutely cannot afford to bring to more than one or two.
