When it comes to questions like age, weight, or income, I would be a bit creeped out. I would still answer most likely, but I would find it creepy if someone just asks that out of nowhere.

"Are you busy later?" and "Do you wanna mess around, maybe?" If someone asked me something like that, my first reaction would be along the lines of, "Whattheheckstayawayfrommecreeper!" A coworker saying that would make me a bit depressed because it means I would have to see them everyday and it would just be so awkward and disturbing. What I would probably actually say to them though is just, no or no thank you.

I honestly don't think a person's approachability has anything to do with their ability to answer rude questions

I'm very approachable, but I don't necessarily respond to every "blunt" request. The person who cares the least controls the relationship.

If you only respond to questions you personally deem "clean", than by definition, you would be "neutral" not "Very Approachable" as that's misleading as heck.

Not really. The willingness to answer any question would make a person open, bold, unreserved, outspoken, and tolerant of people who lack social skills. Approachable refers to the easiness of approaching someone. You can be a friendly person that people want to talk to without answering every question a stranger wants to ask about your sexual history.

I naturally avoid eye contact which, I expect, gives people the impression that I'm trying to avoid social interaction. I'm often deep in thought when I'm walking, and I have difficulty processing words that I wasn't expecting, so random friendly greetings often get strange looks from me or go completely ignored.

If, however, someone catches me on a day when I'm feeling particularly sociable, I may make eye contact, smile, and nod as I pass by. If I hear someone's greeting and process it in time, I will usually respond in kind. And if someone comes to me to ask some questions or start up a chat, I will try to be friendly and not drive them away.

In summary, my general impression of myself is that I'm not very approachable, but I'm friendly when approached.

People assume I'm approachable because of my appearance but, really, I tend to shut people down depending on what comes out of their mouth.

I am an approachable person, but what keeps people from approaching me is me. I'll pretty much answer a rhetorical question.

I am quite approachable. Ask me anything and I will probably answer. There are some I may not answer or not answer publically. Generally, though, I'm an open person.

Maybe it's different where you're from, but it's generally considered rude to ask someone's weight or income in the United States.

You'd be surprised at the number of people outside of crunchyroll who feel the same way. Approachable = depends on the other person: how another person views you. Answering questions = independent of the other person: how comfortable you are. It's 2 completely different things.

Also don't like it when people IRL ask me, "What is your nationality?" because you wouldn't ask a white person this question, why ask me this question? i'm just like, "btch learn the difference between nationality and race".

Oh my god Karen, you can't just ask people why they're white!
