We should have an absolute monarchy.
the other guy was not better.both candidates suck in my opinion because both caters to special interest or corporations rather than ppl. specially scott who destroyed medicaid because he sold out to HMO'S

I agree 100%, which makes me want to strangle the people who thought it was a good idea to give us these choices.

the fact that these people are approved by the political machinery of each party does not come to a surprise why there are almost no choices and those that try to run dont have enough money to "contest" with both parties.how many libertarians or constitution party candidates did you know at the debates? or ran adds for the campaigns??the whole thing is crooked.the reason why we are not a third world country yet is because by in large the govt respects the free market

Last I checked only 23% of those who had the right to vote, voted. I prefer the Fox News coverage ...though watching the depressed liberals of the press (an adjunct of the Democratic Party) has its charms; in the words of Heavy Weapons Guy: “CRY SOME MORE , heh heh heh Cry some more!” Happy days are here again! Woo hoo hoo hoo Snoopy dance.

Like he said, Obama’s policies were on the ballot ...and they were REJECTED! Now we can have a much needed change in direction! Continue the Republican tide in 2016! Not one Republican voted for Obamacare ...maybe he will deign to work with congress for the next two years - and the worthless Harry Reed is replaced by someone who is actually competent and won’t block everything. Looks like the Democrat's “war on women” fantasy was rejected as well. It is not important to elect women to congress – it is important to elect competent people to congress, no matter their gender (or national origin).

Remove all campaign finance laws and replace them with one: “each candidate must declare the source of his income.”

The U.S. is a Center/Right country ...it is NOT becoming more liberal.

The minimum wage laws are an unjust theft of a businessman’s property – his income; it doesn’t create more jobs - it takes them away and raises the bar for those entering the work force. Some jobs are not worth minimum wage – flipping burgers is not worth $15/hr – say goodbye jobs and hello automatic burger flipping machines! Wages should be between the employer and employee; the minimum wage should be abolished – AT LEAST the Federal (states are better at determining minimum wage needs, as standard of living is different in say California/South Dakota), not that it is worth mounting a campaign at this point. Only 2.6% of people in the U.S. earn the minimum wage and 2/3 of them are part timers = no “living” wage.

The Losertarian uh Libertarian party only serves to elect Democrats (they actively fund it) as 2% – 3% of the vote is siphoned away from the Republican candidate in close elections – its a scam. States like WA have it right – only the Top 2 go on to the general election – good bye Looosertarians!

Snoopy dance.

Perhaps because 90% of voters approve of their congressman. It's the rest of congress they hate.

Most Americans don't even know who their congressman is.... For goodness sake some didn't even know there was an election yesterday.

Term Limits. No one should serve 12+ years, by that time they are part of the problem. No one should be 20, let alone 40+ years in the House or Senate. And fix lifetime benefits once they are out of office.

Supreme Court Justices too should have also have a term limit. No one should be a supreme court justice for 30+ years. Forced retirement at 75.

Can't say I'm surprised, given how poor the President's approval rating is (and, for better or worse, he's the face of the Democratic party).

Welp, time to take a trip to la-la land for 2 years while he vetoes everything Congress sends him.

Ah, politics. Almost as much fun as sipping soup directly out of the bowl of a public toilet--and certainly as good for you!
