Really wonder what Yukimura 's fate will be like at this rate.

I have a strong urge to post spoilers from history, but ... you will not be disappointed.

Episode 6

Felt kinda slow for the first half but made it up later with Yukimura in action. The guy speaks with his what he does rather than just words alone.

Kinda curious to see what his enemies has in plan for him though.

The main plot pretty much follows history

Except they made the next Tokugawa shogun a fat slimy character lol

The story between the brothers is intriguing since one went to the Tokugawa and one went to the Toyotomi , a device to make sure the Sanada clan lives on. Nobuyuki's line was the main house until the Meiji era.

But the surviving Sanada belongs to Nobushige (Yukimura's line)

RIP Naomasa...what a boss. Also glad to see Yukimura taking up his spear again and kicking some ass

So far I'm liking this a lot more than sengoku basara. Hope it won't follow history too much...

It definitely will, Warriors series always tend to follow history overall and skipping out the minor details.

Naomasa is really good, I might even have to buy Sengoku Musou 4-II just to play as him

Damn...Keiji is just a badass in this series and the latest episode proved it.

Iconic ending here with the Sanada brothers though:

I know shows and games like this makes you read about Japan's history and the sad destiny of feudal clans that rise up to power and then destroyed to the point that their lineage is gone.

I feel sad that the Toyotomi clan has met that fate completely .

and then the Tokugawa almost during the Meiji era but at least the Tokugawa has their remaining Matsudaira clan and Tokugawa of the main family this present time.

The Sanada also met the same fate during the Meiji Era, but worse . Nobuyuki's father effort of protecting the clan survival by splitting the brothers did not last past the Meiji Era.

EPISODE 9

The Seige of Osaka .
IN history there were 2 , the Winter and Summer.

Haha, this squirrel...

Decent buildup episode. For some reason, I can't help but think someone will die soon. And also, Osaka seems to be a place with a lot of wonders just by its surroundings.

Since this anime seems to be following history for the most part we're seeming a hopeful build up on the Toyotomi side but things can't end well in the end.

The Siege of Osaka Castle... I'm going to have to read up on this, certainly because it looks to be an interesting fight. But I think the Tokugawa forces emerge victorious, although I can't be entirely sure.

The Sanada Maru was certainly a surprise for the Tokugawa forces.

Well...

there were 2 seige of Osaka -jo , 1614 winter campaign and 1615 summer campaign. They were able to hold off the Tokugawa forces in the first one and signed a truce but Sanada with the rest of the Toyotomi clan fell in the second seige however in this anime they might just end it with the first Seige, maybe.

It is a sad plight in history for the Toyotomi and its faithful retainers. It is also sad that the Sanada clan via Noboyuki didnt survive the Meiji era .

Yukimura was actually about 48 years old while Hideyori was about 23 , Nobuyuki was 49 and lived in his 90's

The Osaka -jo also went thru a lot of damages from fires and WW II and was reconstructed in 1995 howver the stone fences around are the original structures of the castle grounds.

I'm totally into this show. The history is interesting, and Nobuyuki (with Daisuke Ono's voice) is hot

What a badass episode. Loved it. The war and battles captured every intense moment from start to finish.
