Okay so are three users in my house on my Ps4 that have accounts. let's just focus on me and my brother. Well he purchased playstation plus (a month subscription) cause he's cheap and only 12years old lol. Well I come home login to my account and see that a new game has been added (by him) Spelunky I play the game on my account with him (logged into his own account) coolio but then his Playstation plus ran out and now the game doesn't boot up, that's fine but I wanted to see something so i reedeem a code for a playstation plus trial on my account and i can download playstation plus games BUT!!!!!!! the game Spelunky downloaded by my brother (This is his only/primary ps4) but i can't boot that game up it just says "expired" O_o
Are you telling me that if i purchase playstation plus i can't play that game? has anyone else noticed this? is there a way to fix this because spelunky isn't in the store for free anymore i wanna buy a year subscription but should i buy it on his account or what?

From my understanding the games that are downloaded are locked in to specific accounts and so if you want to play that particular game you will have to purchase PS+ for his account in order to enable it again. In my opinion though you should just go ahead and get it on your account and purchase the game for yourself separately. Then you get all the other free games in the future without having to worry about the accounts being used for them. I have not heard of any way to get the game to work on a different account.

Np and sorry about your luck. Kinda sucks considering I have it on my PS+ account but don't even like it really.

That's the whole premise of PlayStation Plus. If you have a subscription, you have access to free games on a monthly basis. Once your subscription has expired, you lose access to those games, even if you have downloaded them to your hard drive. To regain access to them, you must simply renew your subscription.
