I think people are just people. Just a mindless swarm -- annoying and loud.

Persons, on the other hand, can be a lot more interesting.

That sums it up.

So, what is your general view of the population? The people of course, not the world as a whole.

Do you feel any camaraderie with the population? Do you view them as generally good with bad apples or generally bad with good apples?

When someone walks up to you and starts making small talk, do you feel happy? Do you enjoy a nice chat with someone new? Do you get annoyed and make any excuse to leave? Do you feel uncomfortable and rather avoid people?

I myself, like to think everyone is good, but people have done bad things to me, so of course not everyone is good, but for the most part, I typically like(and eventually love) everyone that spends lots of time around me.

As a whole, I view the population as generally bad, but not intentionally so, many people have different types of beliefs/religion/ideals that turns them corrupt and with a guilty mind. That's me, most people try to be good but the clubs they join do the exact opposite and puts different shades over their eyes to see things in a distorted way.

That, is called social engineering, or social pressure, or social "mold". If you can break a person out of it and get them back down to earth and have them act like no one is watching(society) than you can see that most people have good intentions. But for the most part, I find people dishonest and dark tinted.

What about you? What do you think about "most" people? The generally population of the world?

Yup, I feel uncomfortable and I'd rather avoid people, I also find people dishonest and dark tinted because I look at world in the same way you do but I'd rather close my eyes to the truth and be brainwashed into thinking that everyone has good intentions which is why I have sessions with a psychologist for social anxiety.

If you look at the world in it's true light, it becomes very beautiful but at the same time dark, disfigured and twisted, which makes you feel quite sad so I'd rather not see that world, I'd like to see the world that everyone is fooled into believing exists.

my thoughts on population is that there is a problem.

We're going to run out of room. Unless something big happens.

I'd say people are multifaceted or complicated. You can't just label some good and others bad because then you'd be shocked when one of those labelled good does something questionable or be shocked when a "bad" one(s) does something nice. People also will do things as a group that single individuals would not normally do. That can be positive sometimes but most times its horrific stuff. People as a group tend to be more short sighted about issues and actions.

Most people can't be bothered for more than a second, God forbid they're asked to look up from their phones for more than a half second. People usually hate each other, and race relations in the US is at probably the worst it's been in 50 years or so thanks to Trayvon Martin and the other kid who got shot, especially in the parts of the US with higher minority populations.

I see random acts of violence all the time over the least serious things. I've seen people die for the same sh*t too.

The population I'd argue consists mainly of people inbetween. I wouldn't really classify them as good apples or bad apples. Rather, I'd just say that most are law-abiding citizens with a few criminals mixed in. If I had to choose though I'd say that it'd be closest to good apples who follow the herd most of the time and a few bad apples tossed in within them who are completely insane or just assholes. As for their competence, most people never use any sort of intelligence or education they have. People'll make decisions based off of propaganda they're being fed through a straw or will automatically agree with a friend, family member, or other acquaintance rather than actually looking into the facts and formulating an opinion of their own.

You mean Michael Brown I believe. Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.

Anyway, don't blame the kids who got shot -- blame the people who shot them.
