Let's say your neighbors are moving out and they're leaving all their pests behind. The pests will then move into your house and make your life a living hell until you hire an exterminator.
Which one would you prefer to infest your house?

Why would I want to choose any of these.

Eww.

I am going to say cockroaches as scorpions actually have the potential of harming, and I am NOT going to sleep with bedbugs (other than the ones we all know already exist and can do nothing about... )

Cockroaches wallow in filth, which means by living in your home there is alreayd bad enough filth there or they have made filth there. Guess who would have to clean that up.

Bedbugs are hard to notice until you've been eat up, so no thanks.

I'll pick scorpions because they are easy to notice and despite being slightly dangerous, they are usually pretty docile.

bedbugs are impossible to get rid of without essentially gutting the place out, and are nasty things to deal with.

cockroaches are creepy as hell and REALLY disgusting.

meanwhile, scorpions? you get maybe one or two where they live, but they like being left alone, don't really bother you much, are easy to remove from your shoes or other places they might hide, and most aren't deathly poisonous, just mildly so.

Yeah, Scorpions are just like Huntsman Spiders, really scary, not too dangerous.

I'd have to fight the urge to keep the scorpions as my pets! They make great "don't touch, but see" pets. The other two options would be a nuisance to have..

No, you wallow in filth.
Cockroaches live anywhere that can support life.

Do you know how cockroaches get in your house? Leaving food out, leaving sweet drinks and stuff out, etc. AKA Filth. If you have a clean kept house and don't leave garbage out and about you won't get cockroaches.

I would pick scorpions.

I couldn't handle sleeping if I had bedbugs.

I briefly lived in a basement suite infested with cockroaches. GROSS!

And by the way, cockroaches (like most other species under the Insecta class) live off of organic debris. It doesn't have to be actual food bits from your leftovers. So unless you have magical powers that enable you to stop shedding your skin and hair on a daily basis, you can still have a cockroach problem and have a clean home without garbage.

Such inverted voting(sort of like it is here in Hawai'i with its Democrat landslides).

Of the 3, bed bugs are less likely to be as painful as scorpions or get you sick like cockroaches.
