Did you ever happened to be called a Pervert?

I know I have a few times, but the last I remember a girl sat down next to me (Friend of a friend) and introduced herself at the table in the cafeteria on campus. Our group talked for a bit and she was sitting a bit back from the table, not far but you could see her legs. She was wearing a skirt and crossed her legs over and the motion just kinda caught my eye; I looked for a second and just kind of without thinking said, "You have nice legs." She got an offended look on her face and called me a pervert and started to stand up but I stopped her and explained I didn't mean anything by it, I just didn't think before I spoke. She understood thankfully.
