That doesn't help... But, because you may purchase more than you really can afford isn't an indicator either. Although having income limits is a way to keep yourself "in-check" though I guess.

It's an indicator of an addiction. Hence too much.

I am currently watching 10 series, have lots more stored in my queue. Theres no such thing as too much. If it don't hurt anyone why not watch it. Anime is life

This might be a good question for your Internet service provider, assuming you stream the bulk of your anime.

When your dreams are in a anime art style lol.

About a year ago I had a dream, and not only was it in a anime art style, it was a original story, with original char to boot lol

I have the ability to wake my self up, so naturally I did so, because I had to write that awesome stuff down

Personally I go in spurts. Sometimes I watch as many as 5-6 ongoing shows if it's a good season while watching or rewatching a completed show. Currently I only watch 4 ongoing shows and I'm about 250 episodes into one piece. I watch about 3-4 episodes of one piece a day before I go to bed. So I probably dedicate around10 hours of my week to anime watching.

It's really my only "hobby" currently though. I don't really watch regular TV much unless it's with my wife and I haven't touched a video game in months.

Maybe you watch too much anime when it becomes the only form of art/story-telling you experience. There are good animes but there are also good books, good movies, good games, etc. There is no point in watching bottom of the barrel, meh-tier anime just because you watched the good stuff already, when there is top tier stuff in other forms of media that you would love but don't pay attention to because it's not anime. Keep your minds open and get the best out of everything.

Personally I'm watching too much anime when I look at my queue and think, "Oh god look at all the time spent in self agony over watching anime instead of studying for midterms."

When I was in college, during my vacations: I'd be devoting most of the day and night to anime. I would only leave the house for about two or three hours to go to the gym to stay fit, and sometimes I'd be grabbing a bite at a cafe that was next to that gym (something low in calories, obviously, like some chicken soup and sparkling water) to socialize with people. So, my typical day was like this:

-Wake up, piss, brush teeth, eat brunch, and load disks on the PS2.
-Watch show.
-Play video games in between seasons.
-Go to the gym.
-Watch show.
-Earn some bucks doing some oddjob.
-Watch show.
-Help my younger bro with summer school.
-Watch show.
-Go to bed.
