Not gonna lie.... The Fault in our Stars made me BALL MY EYES OUT. Like I was literally sobbing in the theater..... darn you strong sympathy with every movie you watch!

I teared up quite a bit at the ending of this film. Probably because its a documentary. I never tear up over fictional films and characters. One of our Drill Sergeants was in this film. He got shot a few times and I can't recall if the rounds hit his radio or his mag, either way it saved his life.

The real purpose was to show that war simply sucks.

Also, Grave of Flireflies was the first piece of media that made me shed many manly tears. My 2nd was Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, can't believe the little tyke died and for something that was completely stupid, yet believable.

I never understood what it was that killed him. What was it?

True, true. The way they made it happen though made me a little confused. But that makes sense.

Hows about a song example?

Red Like Roses - Part II by Jeff Williams feat Casey Lee Williams and Sandy Casey

You know, from the RWBY soundtrack?

Got me chocked up the first time I heard it.

The Saya no Uta visual novel had some pretty depressing endings overall. The whole visual novel is pretty damn dark (as expected of Urobutcher), and really no one wins at the end.

Oh god, because of this forum, I've watched both Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and watched a playthrough of Saya no Uta. Tokyo Magnitude made me cry like a baby, and Saya no Uta was disturbing but really, I just felt bad for the protag. Depressing shit, guys. My feels are on overload.
