Um nope, if you want blu-ray quality then it's impossible. A blu-ray movie can easily go up to 11GB (5-6 episode/disc). Also, they demand a high speed reader and as such you'd have to buy a SSD if you want fast access to all files.

He want to be a pirate... So I bet he would use one of those fake WD drives from Thailand or China that breaks after 2 months time... Only so that he's have to buy a new one... After all, his own words was " I'm gonna become the Pirate King."

You don't need blu-ray quality to watch a good quality anime lol. You can also have 720p with each episode around 250mb. I took my 3 yrs old seagate HDD from a pre-built desktop computer and put it on with my custom built computer specifically just for storage. It's still running after 2 yrs. You would be surprised that a lot of people who watch anime "illegally" have like really good custom computers and if you've built your own computer, you would know that legit decent HDDs are cheap as hell.

Not really encouraging anyone to go to the 'dark side' since I myself have another premium account and this one was premium for 3 yrs. I'm just saying that if you have to watch anime that's not on this site's list, go for it.

Why take my comment seriously, it was a bad joke... I have my own build gaming PC running right now off of a SSD. It's fast and great! Also, you should probably throw away your shitgate HDD and buy a quality HDD from Western Digital!

Haha no thanks. It's a great quality HDD that has lasted me since 09. Would rather save up for a new gigantic case

I like how 90% of good anime is streamed. I am sad about the other 10%.

I wish that google wasn't being a d**khead about their widevine proprietary DRM software. Then I'd probably be willing to scrap windows completely for linux when it comes to the personal use PC's. So far I've been reviving machine after machine with it, but still need a windows machine outside of the work one. (work computer is absolute necessity. NEVER let your personal files take over a work machine).

yet another way DRM is f**king up the world. And I pay for the streaming services that I can't get because there's no widevine alternative.
Of course, Chrome OS is based off of linux freeware but you have to PAY for a chromebook.

And people wonder why I'm so pissed at intellectual rights.

Crunchyroll, a leading anime streaming site, was probably one of the biggest fansub streaming sites until it went legit around Nov.-Dec. '08.

If there are some shows that I love that I can't get LEGALLY, I'm afraid I have no other choice but to go at it the "free" way.

Unfortunately, even though you say your trying to support the industry, they wont support you.
Anime streaming companies are just trying to make themselves money and have no interest in helping fans.
This is evident by how HARD it is to see the shows you like legally, I have over 200 shows on a list im trying to get through and only 5 are on crunchyroll! Alot of others are actually on crunchyroll but I cant get them in my region(UK) which shows companies wont try to help the fans.
Alot of companies have the trademarks to some anime shows but WONT stream them. The reason why? Because it increases DVD sales which make them more money.

The problem is, the fan will always suffer. Its very good when people try to support an industry, I do myself, but you need to look out for yourself as well because noone else will...
