Cleonie returns to cleaning up the bar and calls out to see if anyone wants something else to drink. Hiro is seen waving his hand rudely, he's waiting for Mayan to return.

"So sorry about that" Mayan said as she came back "Saw something that needed cleaning real quick and it was on the way" she placed his drink on the table.
Mayan than pulled out a book and handed it to Hiro. The title was "How to make cleaning fun" and on it was a picture of someone happily sweeping. "Since I clean up so much I thought of trying out some fun things with it and this book is a good resource when it comes to that." she smiled at Hiro.

Hiro just smiled as he looked at the book. "Sounds like a great read," he said. "Cleaning is always fun, for me. It feels so. Fulfilling." He said as he sighed. He didn't mind the wait. He rarely had anyone to speak with about his joy of cleaning.

Quinne settled herself satisfied after a round of music played on the piano. She stood up with a smile and returned to the bar counter and called out to the bartender - intending to pay up the bill.

It was time for her to head home.

Cleonie placed a drink in front of Quinne as she walked over to the bar. "On the house, girl. That was beautiful. Where ever did you learn to play like that?" Cleonie was just fascinated by the whole thing and gave a big grin as she awaited a response.

((My God, I totally missed this out >< ))

Quinne turned around; she didn't expect to hear a compliment from Cleonie for a rather bad piece she'd played. Quinne's eyes travelled down and fiddled with her own fingers. This was probably one of the rare time she actually acted like a girl.

"It was just.... a piece of melody I could remember.... from the past," she replied shortly. A small smile was playing up her cheeks. "My mother used to play the piano. That's all I could remember."

"Sugar, you did a fine job. That dusty old piano doesn't get enough playing anyway. Any time you want to come by and tickle those ivories, you feel free to go ahead and do so."

Cleonie smiled at the girl, "So, tell me a little more about yourself. Tell me about this Mama of yours who played the piano." That's Cleonie, slyly finding a way to learn more about her customers.

Quinne giggled a little. At the mention of her mother, her eyes dropped down to the cabinet behind counter where lines of vodka and some other drinks were displayed.

"One Long Island Cocktail please," she ordered as she eyes looked up into Cleonie's. "It would be good to have a drink over some....recollections."

Cleonie nodded and mixed up the cocktail. "Here you are, Sugar, one Long Island cocktail."

She smiled again, "So, recollections while drinking." Her smile got bigger. Cleonie had a drink in front of her that she had been nursing all night. It wasn't really clear what exactly the drink was, but it was kept behind the bar and it had bubbles.

Quinne chuckled a little under her breath.

"You'll probably the first, and last person I'll ever spoke to in regards to my mother....." she drawled a little as she ran a finger around the mouth of the glass. "Honestly speaking, I can't remember my family. I don't remember my mother; I don't remember her voice, her face .... but I remembered this song she played. This song had been playing over and over again in my mind..... I just don't know why.... or how."

She took a sip and let out a long sigh.

"I felt something was missing from me," she added. "But I don't know what...... what say you?"

Cleonie just sighed. "Lack of memory can hurt, Sugar. I've met people across the multi-verse with either memory issues forced upon them or chosen by themselves. In every case, they've come to me for some reason." Cleonie took a sip from her drink, "Apparently, I have a face they want to talk."

Cleonie smiled at Quinne. "When it comes to a past, even one you can't remember, there's basically nothing you can do about it. Memories are nice at times, but overrated." Cleonie poured another drink for Quinne, "What you can do, is define your own future. Make new memories."

Quinne pursed her lips and slowly nodded in agreement with Cleonie's advice.

"I thought so," she muttered, eyeing the beautifully coloured drink. "But sometimes....well..you know, there's this lil voice in you that tells you that you've forgot something really important."

She raised her gaze up at the graceful woman before sheepishly diverted them away. "You probably made them feel very much at home, at least I'm sure you wouldn't go around spreading our secrets."

Cleonie smiled. "Honey, I'm a bartender in a pan-dimensional space tavern with randoms from all across the multi-verse including regulars who are generally from different dimensions. Even if I blabbed, and I don't, who would I tell?" She smiled mischievously. "I have learned a lot of secrets from a lot of people. Like I said, people like to tell me things. I have that kind of face." Cleonie took a slow sip from her drink.

Quinne chuckled a little. Her serene smile made her forget the time here. Oddly, she found chatting with Cleonie - even on unimportant matters were fascinating satisfying. She nodded at Cleonie's self-claim of having that 'face'.

"True enough," she said. "I've always wondered.... why this place exist? I'm curious."

Cleonie took another delicate sip of her drink, "You want the short story or the extremely, ludicrously long story?"

She waited a second then said, "I'll start with the short version. I made my riches adventuring while traveling the planes and decided to set up a little place for plane-walkers, shifters, and anyone who finds their way here to relax and kick off their shoes. Even if only for a moment."
