Quinne looked at the boy, wondering if he'll be alright when she was caught with Cleonie's suggestion of all sudden. Surprised, she turned to look back at Cleonie.

"There's all about me," Quinne answered shortly. "My life is all about clearing off crime and solving crimes. And trying to catch some bad guys. Haha, my life is dull. There's really nothing."

Yet, Quinne was looking deep into her glass as she ended her sentence. Those were the eyes any lady in love would hold when they thought of the person they loved. Except Quinne's brought sorrow deep down to the soul. Whoever the person was that she was in love with, was probably the one that hurt her.

"Crimes?" Cleonie asked, "Sounds dangerous, Sugar. Then again, am I really one to talk about danger." She smiled,"I've solved some crimes before. I told you about my first attempt with the goat thief. There were other instances, though. What kind of situations do you find yourself in? Anything exciting? Interesting? You work with any interesting people?" She was prying. She did this on purpose. Something was clearly bothering Quinne, and Cleonie wanted to understand to know how to help.

Quinne smiled.

"Yes you're right. Well I happened to be elected to be the leader of a group of organization that works under our government to catch the...well... the ones that plot to turnover the government," Quinne answered briefly. "I do have a group of really excellent subordinates working under my orders. Some are scientists, some researchers, some assassins and some are normal office workers. In our field, you'll meet tones of people. Rubbish mostly but valuable ones would appear once a while."

Quinne smiled wider at the thought of her subordinates.

"Sometimes I was harsh to them though.... I wonder if I'm ever a good leader to them?"

Cleonie nodded. "Interesting. What kind of government do you have? Also, do you have a lot of people trying to overthrow the government? Where I grew up, it was feudal with some monarchies surrounding us. I've seen some interesting government styles while planewalking. Some I'd like to live near, others I would not."

Cleonie had a smile come across her face, "Mostly rubbish you've met before? Sugar, I really wonder what you think of me in that little head of yours," she said with a smirk.

"I'm sure you're a fine leader," Cleonie said, "A bad leader wouldn't even consider whether or not they're a good leader, just assume they were."

Quinne clamped her finger together and pondered.

"I would not say sickly of the government for I'm serving them," she said. "I believe every different government have both their good ways and bad ways in handling the country. I'm very neutral on this point. But if there are people out there trying to overthrow the government using the wrong way which would possibly harm innocent ones, I wouldn't hesitate to hunt them down."

A soft smile broke onto her face.

"You're awesome Cleonie. And I mean it," she replied with a gentle look. "It had been ages since I last had a good talk with a.... female companion I supposed?"

And she giggled nervously.

Cleonie just smiled. "Sugar, I'm glad to be able to help. It's good to talk to you, too. Not asking you to pick on your government, just curious how it functions. Is it elected people, is it a monarchy? I sometimes imagine I'd like being a monarch, a Queen, but I think the power would corrupt me completely."

A disheveled man wearing robes and animal furs walked through the door to the tavern, stumbling. He said in a quieted voice, "Cleonie," and proceeded to faint on the floor.

Quinne nodded.

"It's elected by the people but that was years ago," she said. "Apparently as the years of ruling gone by..... the ruling system has somehow involves some element of aristocracy. So now it's pretty much a mix of democracy and aristocracy...."

Quinne blinked and turned around as soon as the man fell down on the floor. She quickly stood up and rushed to the man. Helping him up despite struggling a little at his weight, she tried to call him awake.

"Hello mister? Mister? Can you hear me?" she tried to no avail. "Cleonie! Do you have a rest room for the guest or something?"

Cleonie hopped up. "Someone quick, get me some water, sponge, and some blankets." She raced over to the man slumped over and helped Quinne bring him into the tavern. They dragged him to a table nearby when some of her staff came over with water, sponges, and some blankets. She pulled back his hood and tried to give him water...

...when she saw his face, she dropped the water and just starred. The man starts to shake a bit and opens his eyes looking upward. His face was gaunt and a bit sickly, but was still rather handsome. When he looked up with his open eyes they sparkled and a huge smile came across his face. "Cleonie?" He said, "Is...that you?"

"No, no, no, no," Cleonie said, "It can't be. It can't possibly be."

He smiled broadly and then closed his eyes again, fainting once again. He looked weak and sickly. Cleonie covered him in a blanket and made sure he was breathing. "He's alive, but he's very weak." She yelled to her kitchen staff asking them to make some food, giving them a specific list of foods to make.

She then began to pace back and forth. "It can't possibly be," she said, "He was gone, he was gone, I saw him disappear." She just kept shaking her head. She was clearly confused, but she recognized this man. She knew exactly who he was, even as he looked sickly and gaunt. Even as he looked like he had been through multiple hell dimensions and back. It was clear to her who he was and it both scared and excited her. "How could Garin possibly be alive?"

Quinne blinked, bewildered at the situation she found herself in. She stole a look at Cleonie's countenance and back to the new man's. When the waiter brought a new cup of water, Quinne took it from his hand instead - since Cleonie has yet to regain her composure. Keeping quiet as she allowed the couple to settle down, she began to wonder if the man that had just came into the tavern was the man in the story Cleonie was mentioning to her just about an hour or so ago.

(AHA! I knew by the time Cleonie ended her story with the ambiguity as to whether he's alive or not.... I guessed somehow he would appear...sooner or later hahaha XD)

There were some who entered this place for the purpose of kicking back and relaxing, to get away from their sorrows and pain and enjoy a hearty meal and drink. Perhaps though, there were some who stumbled in the tavern by blunder, feeling lost as well as a bit scared when they do.

Amirra Kleaio found herself in the exact predicament of the second. A moment before, she had been running away from her babysitter, who was furious with her attempt on shoving a frog that she caught into the sitter's shoes. It would've worked perfectly had the frog not croak as the sitter was just about to put them on. Like anyone, she bent down and inspected it, shrieking loudly as the frog jumped out, landing on her head and away. Amirra giggled loudly through pressed fingers and that's when she realized her mistake.
She ran and ran, ducking corners in the house and eventually found a place to hide. In her closet, she stumbled back as far as she could but despite taking five large steps back, she did not feel any wall of wood. Instead, the wooden board beneath her feet ended and she fell into a dark abyss. Falling and falling until finally, she landed in the corner of the tavern with a thumb. Her butt feeling sore but other than that, she was unharmed.

"What on earth--" Large brown eyes blinked at the scenario laid out before her.

Cleonie's starring at the ground ended quickly when the girl fell in abruptly in the room. She stood firm. Looked ahead and nodded. "Okay, let's do this." She was ready to handle the situation.

"You," pointing to one of the waiters, "Tend to the girl who just fell in. Get her some water, and some soup, she looks like she's been through a lot," She pointed to another, "You, make sure Taylor actually gets some food, the kitchen is being super slow."

She then walked over to the man who had just came in. Quinne was giving him some water. She pulled back his hood and looked at his face. He looked up at her and smiled. His eyes sparkled as he looked at her. "Cleonie, is that you, Cleonie?" She looked right at him, rubbed her necklace with one hand. She then grabbed the man by the face and kissed him passionately on the mouth. After a moment she pulled back and said to him in her usually sassy way, "What the hell took you so long, baby?"

The man smiled, "Sorry it took me so long, I just wanted to see how much you'd miss me." He then stood up, picked up Cleonie swiftly, looked her deeply in the eyes and kissed her while holding her up. He stopped kissing her for a moment, "You are what got me through as my body seemed to fail, as I pulled myself through everything. You were the memory that kept me going. I missed you so much, my Cleonie." He started to cry and put Cleonie down, who helped him to a seat. She started to get teary when she said, "You're here now, we're together now, and we never have to be apart again."

Amirra scooted back into the corner, dark eyes blazing with wary hostility as a waiter approached her. Had she been an animal, she would've growled but she did no such, and instead scowled, her lower lip jutting out in child-like scorn. "Where am I?" She asks boldly, quickly getting up on her feet. She was still at least a head or two shorter than the waiter, but had no trouble meeting the person's eye with declared confidence.

Taylor looks up at Amirra. The girl looks familiar to him. he recognize her as one of the girl he met in his adventure to different places. He hid his face under his muffler. He is not sure if he should say hi.

Does she remember me, he thought to himself. He keep looking at Amirra

Feeling strangely watched, Amirra's eyes shifted briefly from the waiter to the many in the cavern. They were all fairly older than her, though there was one person who stood out. He was probably no older than she was, she figured and saw that the stares were coming from him. There were no flickers of recognition in her eyes, and she had met the waiter's eyes almost as quickly as she left them.

"I'm okay. Just tell me where I am." She says once more, forcing her voice to become less ragged with fear and anger.
