CoD yes, Battlefield no... Battlefield is developeded in Sweden and as such it can't be "American" military propaganda.

Yea, they printed that website on the back of the mirror. They promised you to maybe win a IPad if you played their games... But I didn't even bother since when I got the mirror then I thought it would be a quiz or something............................... But then I herad from some friends that they had horrible flash games there.

You play Americans in it. It is published by an American company. Who owns the Swedish studio and tells it what to do. Its even written by an American. In fact, its all the same guy. He was a writer on Call of Duty, Battlefield and Titanfall. Its all the same shit. Only the original Battlefield ( BF 1942 ) was developed independently by DICE in Sweden. They've been a wholly owned EA studio since 2004. Hence their name being EA Digital Illusions now. -.-

I know my numbers well enough. That % is based off of all enlisted and total population. Factors don't as too why put aside the cold hard fact is that most younger people you ask will say that they are not needed. I know full well the importance of our military and support it entirely like some communities such as Kingston On and Borden On do. I do know the reputation of the military has suffered from the Somali affair but it's at an all time high now that too years to recoup. The fact though is young people think the military is useless.

Stop preaching. My god.

It doesn't sound like you chose to the join the military either. Stop making generalizations you have no basis for. Yes, recruitment in Canada is very low and at the current rate of attrition and enlistment there is a deficit. However, that doesn't mean every young individual who does not join thinks our armed forces are useless.

I certainly support our troops and our military as I have many family members who are or have been in the military. I also have many friends and family friends who have joined. I understand full well the use of our military beyond war. I also had no intent at any point to join the military because it was not the career for me. I was a cadet when I was younger and used to tag along with my father when he had to run into work at times. I have exposure to the different aspects of working for the military. I also understand postings, exercise and tours that take you away from your home and your family.

I appreciate those individuals who are able to make the necessary sacrifices that come hand in hand with this job. However, I know that I, personally, am not cut out for that. Period.

I think the issue is more based on the fact that the younger generation does not want to make those sacrifices and less based on some idea that they think the military is useless. It just isn't on the radar as a viable career for many young people.
