Once I saw the art style, I instantly knew who created this... XD Great stuff! I'll have to keep an eye on this as it comes out.

First episode, not especially bad, but nothing to write home about, either; perhaps a bit juvenile. Ok if you have nothing better to do.

That was pretty much exactly what I expected when I heard who was doing this series. Maybe some forced melodrama, but I am sure we'll get there in time. Not a bad start, looks enjoyable enough, plus it's a two cour so I am probably gonna keep this. But what was up with that teacher's eyes?

Also: Fansubs, oh how I have missed you.

Episode 1

That was nice and refreshing overall. Reminded me a bit of Natsume's Book of Friends and Noragami although I find Rinne to be even more funny; well, at least on part with Yato.

Action was meh but the story itself was fluid with the characters so far.

Note:
I've read the manga before and a lot of the episodes will feel like a Monster of the Week like format but there are short ongoing arcs so I'm curious to see what they will adapt.

Episode 1

That's Rumiko Takahashi alright as she totally overdoes it with the supernatural, and this show follows that mold perfectly. Rinne is just like Ranma being totally focused on his cause and attending school in athletic attire rather than the school uniform. The first case involves sending someone who died on his way to the gym his specially-made tracksuit, while a mad chihuahua is on the loose. Great stuff overall coming out of the gates.

Episode 1: The Mysterious Classmate

That was an enjoyable episode. It was actually better than what I expected it to be.

Story and concept are interesting and the art style reminds me of those old art styles in anime. It's different than what I'm used to. And that's good.

It's hilarious too, I had a good laugh out of it, especially when he said there were girls on the Rinne no Wa and the guy dipped hella quick. Or when they have to pay for services like the tin can.

Overall I am intrigued and this has my attention for the weeks to come. Oh and Just realized that on MAL its 25 episodes, so its a 2 cour. That's great!

Ep 1

Not bad, enjoyed the OP, I have been really liking most of the music this season. The comedy is decent as well. The Renne Rumi dynamic is enjoyable to continue watching.

Those Sensei eyes tho...like dafuq?

That was fun. I'll give it a few more eps. I hope it more like Rumiko older stuff like Ranma and masion Ikkou rather than Inyhahsa.

The setup reminds me of Yu Yu Hakusho and Bleach, but with a lighter atmosphere. Considering the author, the story could make Bleach look succinct, though. The gender flip from the other two where the grim reaper/shinigami is the guy and the human is the girl was different.

It was enjoyable. Doubt it'll be my favorite or anything, but it'll be a fun thing to watch during the week.

So surprised, and Glad, that Crunchyroll got this. I figured once the episode went live in Japan that we didn't get, which is usually true, but fortunately we got it after all.

Also how much material is there for this? Is it likely to go as long as a lot of her other works? Her name might have netted a longer run if it's popular.

There are 24 volumes (ongoing) according to wiki.
I'd have been really surprised if this was less than 20 volumes given the author.

That was kind of odd. At first, I was underwhelmed, but it slowly dawned on me that they're deliberately being that way. I didn't pay attention to the studio or things like that, but the character designs are very 90s. I just hope that teacher has a minimal appearance; I'm not sure I can take those eyes...
