I thought it might be a great idea to share some great food with others on CR!
Post pics of something you ate recently that was amazing, or a recipe for something that you love to make all the time, or ask what the heck you just put in your mouth!

I'll start with a recipe for some absolutely amazing cookies.

Chocolate cookies with sweet peanut butter centers! Delicious chocolate cookie with a great smooth peanut buttery center!

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup soft margarine

1/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix all the dry ingredients well, flour, cocoa, baking soda

2. In a much larger bowl than the last, mix white and brown sugar with butter and 1/4 peanut butter until light and fuwafuwa. Add vanilla and egg, mix again. Stir in the previous dry ingredients SLOWLY AND IN PARTS. Put to the side.

3. Filling! mix confectioners sugar with 3/4 cup peanut butter, blend well. You can add more or less sugar to make this part as sweet or not as you like. I actually use a little bit more sugar and a full cup of peanut butter just encase!

4. Time to get messy. Roll filling into 30 10-inch balls. Again you can make them as big or as small as you want, but try to stay as consistent as possible. It helps if you are making these in a cool or cold kitchen, if its 90 degrees your balls will probably melt. You can get around this by making small batches and putting them in the fridge until you have sufficient number of balls (thats what she said).

5. For one cookie, flour you hands scoop about a tablespoon of dough out, Flatten in your hand slightly, then add the peanut butter ball and form the chocolate dough around the ball. I then take a glass jar with a flat bottom and squish the dough down on a flat surface to give its cookie shape. Before i flatten though i sprinkle some white sugar over the formed ball.

6. Place each flatten cookie about 1 inch apart.

7. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 7-9 minutes.

8. Let cool and ENJOY THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS!

Additionally you can change this recipe by adding chocolate chips for MORE CHOCOLATE! or even try to use crunchy peanut butter!

To me, making the food isn't that big of a deal. Cleaning everything up is the hard part lol. If I could just have someone do all the dishes for me all the time, I would probably be cooking stuff nonstop lmao.. Not just for me to eat, but for everyone lmao.. I'd feel sorry for the dishwasher.. I'd give him minimum wage + a loaf of bread for ever 4 work days lmao.

A quick and lazy recipe I found some time ago on Youtube:

Ingredients: Salt-free seasoning blend (ex. Mrs. Dash), olive oil, frozen green peas, other frozen vegetables and maybe an egg or two.

1.) Heat frying pan.
2.) Olive oil on frying pan.
3.) Frozen vegetables on frying pan.
4.) Put in as much seasoning as you can, and maybe an egg or two.
5.) Wait a bit.
6.) Eat.

Takes me around 10 minutes to make.
