I stood in line for a couple of hours a few years ago to get a laptop from Best Buy. I didn't see anyone getting trampled over in a rush for the products but I'm sure it happened at some point in time on that night.

ONCE! once... never again!
Have I worked it? Yes... now I'm going to crawl into a hole.
Some of the stores already started playing Christmas songs.

Ugh. It was awful. I was dragged to two Black Fridays and I worked for one Black Friday. People are savages, I tell you. I shop online. Thank god for Cyber Monday and Steam Sales.

It's gonna be my second Black Friday. I can't wait for it.
Last year I went to Kmart at 3am on Thanksgiving (it opened at 4am), the Office Depot at 5:30 pm (it opened at 8pm), and Gamestop at 6am on Black Friday (it opened at 6am).
I liked it. It's like a game because you get rewarded. This country is fun.

Canada has started to come out with Black Friday deals (though nowhere as good as what is available in the US) so I can't really say that I've experienced the whole Black Friday hype

I'm somewhat wanting to see for myself a horde of Walmartians stampeding and going nuts during Black Friday.

Early in the morning? I'd rather SLEEP! Online? Yes! One year my family and I shopped at Costco on Black Friday. (They opened at some REASONABLE time like 9 a.m.)

My Dad and brother have gotten up early to do shopping at 5 or 6 a.m. They haven't done it in a few years though. I don't think they will this year either. My Dad said he liked the "comradery" while waiting in line. He was waiting at a STAPLES though. Staples doesn't get the insanity that Walmart and Best Buy can have. My Dad said when he went Staples was very organized and it was a fun experience without any problems. The lines weren't to bad and people could get in and out of the store in a reasonable amount of time. I still thought he was crazy.

Not everywhere is like Staples though.

Oooh, I remember those days when I worked retail--they were AWFUL!!! I feel your pain and wish you the best of luck.

Only online shopping. Physical shops in my area only started doing black Friday last year and I don't think they'll be doing it again.

No, but I have been Boxing Day shopping, which is sort of the Canadian equivalent. I actually think it's kind of fun though I've never been part of the waiting in line over night for the store to open in the freezing cold type of madness.

I haven't done it.

I don't want to wait in lines anymore.

I had been riding public buses for seven years. All those waitings at the bus stop finally burned my patience meter.
