I have a single Nendo, it does fit conveniently in my computer space below my monitor due to it's smaller height and I do like the customizable parts for it. I think most people like nendos for the reason I think this one I have is convenient to me, really.

That said, I think I prefer PVC scale figures more because I love the detail that goes into a lot of them. I doubt I will be piling on nendos unless they are limited edition and unique like the one I missed at Miku Expo.

never thought i'd be a figure person. but ever since i've started decorating my home... i've found a place where i could put them. so i'm starting to collect figures now. (i've got a lot of side tables and cube shelves).

i honestly think nendoroids would look good on computer desks/study desks or in front of my books that are in bookshelves.

that would be my reason for buying them, i suppose. don't know what other people's reasons are. I'm a special person.

this is my table of free! figures. i think it would be perfect if there were some nendoroids in front of the free! figures, tbh.

Definitely make sure you unbox your boys! Over time the figure can sweat if they're left in their boxes due to the chemicals from the paint and pvc! A couple years ago I bought some figures from 04 that had the issue because they had never been opened. It took me months to get their stickiness to go away and they still don't look as good as they should, because parts of them are shiny and that shine won't disappear even with treatment. =(

There are several reasons why I love Nendos, but the biggest reasons are that they are cute, they are cheap (compared to standard sized figures), they are customizable, and they are small so that I can display lots of them. I have about 25 of them in my collection right now as they make great collector's items.

I just bought my first one. This was because I wanted to take pics with the artwork that I received from certain artists and then send them a "thank you" with their sketch and a nendoroid version of myself ogling it.

I do like that the nendos and the chibi arts figurines are about the same size, so I can totally have my nendo all up in Kotetsu's business.

I got some nendoroids (one regular, two petite) because I couldn't find "regular" figures I liked of the characters I was looking for. I like the full size one, but setting up the chibis was kind of a pain. Vita kept dropping Graf Eisen... and her hat.
