It's happening again. The wall of ice that attacked us for months last year is returning. It's already begun snowing in some parts of the U.S. We're in for another harsh winter.

So how do you guys feel about the impending doom?

I thought the 6 months of winter we had last year was a little too much. I don't want to repeat that this year but it looks like mother nature doesn't care about my opinion.

I was hoping this forum would be more about the hype for the next season of Game of Thrones...

You know, you could always make your own thread on that if you wanted to. :D.. That is, unless you wanted that specific title

I think about those for whom winter is not coming. Such as our lovely global neighbors in Australia and New Zealand.

At the moment we've already got plenty of snow up in south-western Ontario. Namely the St Thomas, London, Sheddon area.

I used to like winter... It's just the cold bothers me. That dry cold where even the ice is dry and brittle. and the darkness, where no one dares step out of their homes.

that bothers me.

Where I am the coldest winter times are usually in January-February. Other parts of the country will get snow but we rarely get snow my side. I suppose one day I'll do what my mother and her friends do since they're retired, that is migrate to warmer climates for a while only returning when it gets warmer.

No, living near the Canadian border I may be biased, but I prefer winter over summer. If you're feeling cold you can always throw on more layers of clothing, but if you're too hot there is only so much clothing you can remove before you're arrested.

My thoughts exactly.

I've moved to the sunniest city in Scotland now but I'm actually going home for Christmas so I'm going back to freezing cold weather and hopefully snow. At least we can handle the snow.
