I don't mind winter, it's just I wish I had more fashionable outerwear for the season...

Moving to Connecticut at the end of the month btw (cuz Long Island is ****ing expensive for a private apartment)--so yay more snow.

Watching anime while it is snowing outside is just orgasmic.

Bring it on.

Cold weather = no stinging insects. Good enough for me.

My main concern is whether or not Johnstown will have less rain. Last year, we would have snow for a few days or so, but then it'd rain and the temperatures would drop shortly afterwards. We'd ended up having to deal with alot of ice. During one incident, I spent 3-4 hours breaking and scraping ice from my driveway, because two relatives were going to have a last-minute visit, and the ice removal was to minimize the likelihood of them slipping.
The next day, I discovered that I had pulled what felt like 30% of the muscles on my right side. Oh joy. I had also gouged out many holes in the concrete.

Also, I'm looking forward to seeing my younger dog's first winter with us, and how she takes to snow.

I don't like winter, I'm a summer person. Cold is no fun, and here I'm stuck in Finland.

I was still rocking my cargo shorts when we got dumped on for a foot and a half of snow. I had to help 3 people get out of my parking lot at my apartment lol. They were all like WHY ARE YOU IN SHORTS? Eh, the snow makes good insulation once it sticks to the hair on your legs lol.

I love snow, and I will wear shorts all year round, pants are too restricting lol

Winter has already come, covering us with that sticky white stuff.

Yes. I did write it like that on purpose.

We start preparing for winter in September.

Next time invest in some ice salt and non-clumping kitty litter.
Salt melts the ice, and the litter adds traction.

I think about those for whom winter is not coming. Such as our lovely global neighbors in Australia and New Zealand.

I think about the Santas that have to dress up in winter coats during summer.

I'm not looking forward to it. Here in Britain we don't even get snow a lot of the time, we get that grey slushy shit that looks like Jack Frost is going through the depression of trying to win custody of his kids. It's cold, it's uncomfortable, and it makes everything and everyone look incredibly depressing. Mind you, come summer again I'll be complaining about how every part of my body is crying warm, salty tears, begging for the winter to come back: England, great for a holiday, bring your kids!

Santa's been naughty letting all the kids play in his sticky white stuff. What a dirty old man. He won't break into my home this year!
