Snow. Something I always wanted to see.

It doesn't snow where I live so that kind of sucks.

But really what I want to know is Does it snow where you live?.

And do you actually like/ enjoy the snow?
- because there are like snow days when you don't go to school, and such.

Or do you hate it?
- because of the shoveling it out your driveway or blizzards and all that fun stuff.

Thread? Sorry.
How did this get here... laugh laugh *cough* I mean 'hah'.

Snow is fun, but since I live in the most urban city in the country, the snow quickly turns into soggy brown goo on the streets. Sometimes it snows too much and the sidewalks turn to ice. I'm bad at ice skating...

Btw, yes this is a thread and no I will not deal with it. You must first dance in front of Vladimir Putin with your clothes inside out while stepping on the bodies of dead ebola victims and praising Satan before you can be authorized to start a thread.

You forgot that they need to be blowing a vuvuzela at the same time too.

It snows here a decent amount. Sometimes it can shut things down though which isn't good. Got into a car accident...last year? year before? I forget. It was because of too much snow and it turning to ice. Moderate amounts of snow is perfectly fine.

I somewhat enjoy the snow. It's nice to play in but after that it's just oh so cold and dangerous to walk around with all the cars. Where I live it doesn't snow all that much which is kind of a bummer.

Freshly fallen snow is great, especially early in the morning after it's just finished falling. It's very peaceful. And when it's got a good consistency, it's really fun to make snowballs out of :-)

But, after awhile, it gets all dirty and disgusting and shoveling it out of your driveway and wiping it off of your car is a huge pain :\

It's still really nice at first, though :-)

snow is amazing. Especially when its supper light and fluffy, then covers everything in this glorious coat of white. It's hard to describe without seeing it yourself. Just everything covered in white. Its really amazing.

But after about a week of cars spinning out, buses crashing, nipples chaffing, snow gets a bit tiresome.

I used to love the snow. But after my years living in Valdez, AK. I grew tired of it after a few years. It was a pain waking up to five feet of fresh snow. That happened when I decided to sleep over at a friends house during my sophomore year. Went to sleep that night, two feet of packed snow. Woke up, two feet of packed snow and five of freshly fallen powder. It wasn't uncommon for a couple feet to fall in one night when I lived in Valdez. Back then, deciding when to shovel the roof was a matter of saying something like, 'There's only a foot of snow." Unfortunately, as time moved on and the climate changed, any preparations I had made for normal winters was trashed.

Record rainfall during the summer and fall. Only to have very little amounts of snow, pipes burst as a result of animals taking the insulation wrapped around the pipes. There was plenty more, but it's something I've done my best to ignore.

I have a love/hate relationship with snow. It snows a whole bunch where I live. Fun to play in, sucks to shovel off the driveway. Sucks to drive on too.
