I've lived in three different nations The USA, Jamaica, and Denmark.

My parents and my brothers immigrated here to the US from Jamaica. I am one of the first people in my family born in the states. Even though I am a natural born American citizen I feel no sense of attachment, belonging to , or patriotism for the US. So whenever I permanently move away from the states (and I plan to) I won't miss anything. I do like the music that was developed here in the 20th century( I don't listen to American musicians much anymore) but that is pretty much it.

I grew up in a Jamaican household and have been to Jamaica multiple times of course. What I like about Jamaica is the most obvious being that it is a tropical island and we have one heck of a culture (great music, food, the dialect) and I love that.

After living in Denmark I fell in love with the nation and feel that the quality of life is better there than in the states (expensive but higher). I love the Danish culture, the manners of Danish people, their language, the cleanliness, an incredible transportation system, the architecture and the history. I would totally live there again for the rest of my life if I could.

I live in America and I think it's a great country. I'm patriotic but I also recognize our flaws. We do too much harm in the world and often fail to take care of our own.

As for Japan, I don't feel any particular affinity for them. I like anime but the rest of their culture is not very appealing to me. If I could live anywhere in the world, Japan would not be a contender.

One thing very nice about the USA is if you don't like something, you can move to a completely different place without getting a passport and a visa and almost be in a different country.

That's also a major problem in the USA, people moving and trying to make the place they moved too just like the place they left.

Don't be that person.

I live in America!!
What i love most about living in the USA is the large amounts of diversity everywhere!! I love meeting and talking to people who come from outside of the united states, without actually going anywhere myself. LOL
(:

Living in the US though, just like the description above, i do love the Japanese culture and practices! it absolutely fascinates me(:

I love the United States despite the many problems the country has. I like the fact that I can walk down the street and not be afraid of being kidnapped. One of the most amazing things about the USA is that a rich business man and a poor college student will eat in the same McDonalds. This is unheard of in many countries where social classes don't mix. I'll rather be here than anywhere else.

Mexico is my homeland and will always have a special place in my heart. There's good food and music down there. I love Mexico but there is no way I'll live there. The country is too messed up. 43 students were killed by a town mayor because they were going to protest against him.

Best of both worlds

freedom!

well idk even though i feel like gov't has been stepping in a lot lately i still believe in the foundation of our country and compared to many others we really are a free nation.

i also love how diverse we are, ethnicities are all over the place; compared to Asian countries which are 90% or more same ethnicity. haven't been to Japan but i have been to China and while i loved it & it was cool, i can't imagine living in a place where i looked similar to all the people around me.

I don't like living in 'Murica. I want to move to Narnia but I can't find that damn wardrobe anywhere.

America has a lot of shortcomings, but there are a lot of countries with way more serious problems that what we are currently dealing with. I like this country because I am allowed to own guns. I love muscle cars and classics, and really enjoy diesel performance. I love that my house and my apartment (home and college) are warm in the winter. My apartment doesn't have A/C, but that is something I can live without. This country is based on convenience, so buying anything is easy. But, with that in mind, I like the idea of sustainability. I would love to own enough dryland and irrigated ground to play around with what might work to secure a future when almost everything goes to hell.
