Correct. Getting an update onto whichever of the various platforms is not an instant process. You can safely assume that it will take at least 3 weeks to get a new version online. There is a procedure that has to be followed and which can't be sped up. Everyone involved knows that this is frustrating for the user, but there isn't really anything that can be done about it.

Then you all should have communicated that earlier. Not 3 weeks afterwards, when the app STILL isn't working. Communication is the least we deserve considering the majority of us pay for this service.

i cannot log on to either my phone or my x 360 thus rendering my membership pointless.....extreamley unhappy about this

So you're telling me that you had no inclination to think that maybe the app would take longer than a week to fix? If that's what your saying I find that to be a huge load of bull . And if you couldn't provide that type of information at the time then someone else who could should have been relaying that information to us , not you. There is no point in responding if you can't provide immediate help.

There is no point in me providing a personal guess or anything along those lines as a reply, as it would just cause more confusion - particularly if it happens to take longer than initially guessed.

First and foremost I tried to help by forwarding the information we gathered here to the devs, and by relaying information about possible remedies to the users in this thread.

XBOX 360 app doesnt work at all, which is lame because 80% of gaming, and anime are used on it. It happened right after the update, huzzah. What is weird is that the xbox one app works just fine, a little slow..but works. It's been..two weeks now I think though..and the 360 is still kaput.

Hello,

I am still having the same problem. This issue has lasted around 2 weeks now. When will it be fixed? As I generally watch my anime via my console and not my computer ( since its so choppy via my computer)
