This is the current synopsis for the J-drama on Crunchyroll called Galileo:

"Yukawa Manabu is a genius physicist and university associate professor, who solves difficult mysteries. Known as Detective Galileo, Yukawa is brilliant, an all-round sportsman, tall and handsome but eccentric. Yukawa's partner is a rookie cop, Utsumi Kaoru, a hot-blooded woman with a strong sense of justice."

After watching a few episodes, I see that this synopsis has some major errors in it. Yukawa-sensei is a full professor, not an associate. His nickname is just Galileo, he is never called Detective Galileo. Actually, he doesn't much care for helping Utsumi with her cases. They are not partners at all, and she is a rookie detective who calls on him as a consultant. A more appropriate synopsis would be something like:

"Yukawa Manabu is a genius physicist and university associate professor - brilliant, an all-round sportsman, tall and handsome - but eccentric enough to be nicknamed Galileo. Utsumi Kaoru is a rookie detective, a hot-headed woman with a strong sense of justice, who calls on him for his help with her work, and - Galileo's willingness notwithstanding - together they solve cases that would otherwise result in a miscarriage of justice."

Or something like that.
