EDIT: After tons of trial and error I changed I believe I may have figured it out. I changed my DNS to googles default DNS being 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 this seems to have fixed it for the time being, will edit if something else comes up!

Going to post images of my computer specs. and my network. I know its not me and my Firefox and Chrome both have the problem. They are updated to newest patch and same with my adobe flash. Help please.

I have sent in 3 tickets regarding this issue for the past 9 months. Each time they tell me there is nothing they can do at this time and that they are working on improving their flash player and adding more CDNs. 9 months and the issue just keeps getting worse and worse.

Dont expect any help :/

If you're using an app on your phone, this isn't too surprising. The apps and website use different CDNs to stream content, so even if you have a good connection to one, that doesn't mean the other will be problem-free.

I have this same problem!! I can't get through the first few seconds without it skipping the entire time with no let up. In the past I could pause and un-pause the video and it would work. Now that doesn't even do anything. It's frustrating especially when you pay for their services in support of them. When I sent them a ticket about the issue they told me to disable chrome's flash player and that it would fix the problem. Now it uses Adobe but since I've done that it's even worse. Even tried going back to chrome's and it's the same. Can't even cast the app to my chromecast anymore either cause I get that dang buffer wheel every 30secs it seems. I just want to watch my shows!! It's my only me time and means of escape. *end rant*

I even cancelled my membership out of frustration. That was 2 days ago, I just renewed -_-' cause I couldn't wait the few days or week it takes for a new episode to become available for free users. Right now I have SAO on pause, hoping to allow some buffer time, and watching it on 480 when I should be able to watch it in 1080. I've heard that the whole reason for these issues is cause of CR. That they have such small buffer times, like seconds, so it creates the stuttering playback. They're reason for this is to prevent people from pirating or using their site for those reasons. Or something like that. It's all just super annoying. I've done soooooo many tweaks with my router too and I'm still getting these issues. As you can see this problem really grinds my gears. Can't help from ranting

I am having the same problem... I have to watch crunchyroll on my phone or ipad..... This is getting pathetic that as someone who pays for a membership is having connection issues, but i can just go watch it on an off-site or torrent it for free... If I am paying for a service I assume the service isn't going to be trash... zzzz The customer support is completely worthless also.

NJ TEST

CA TEST

Internet test from LOCAL NJ an long distance CA are the best you can get. Its NOT my internet

I have i5 12GB ram 256GB SSD CONNECTED VIA ETHERNET CABLE . Had the service for almost a year now.
I tested with 4 different pc's in my house all with same specs or BETTER

I have used Chrome, FF, Safari, IE 7/8/9/10/11. Support gives me the same SCRIPTED BULLPOOP about my internet connection or pc settings.Problem is NOT ME ITS YOU CR!

Either CR are Greedy and DO NOT want to fix the problem ( NOT ENOUGH CONTENT NETWORKS)

OR They cant do it without raising prices.

I will pay a little more for the CONTENT I AM Already PAYING FOR. Right now I get to watch on a crappy tablet or usless apple tv. But if I want 720p or 1080p I get the old F-U from CR servers. Probably going to cancel soon. I get better service from NOT SO LEGAL websites with 1080p streaming.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND CR PREMIUM TO ANYONE FOR THIS REASON. FIX YOUR SERVICE CR!!!!! STOP Wasting our money.

The CDN server you're hitting is likely not located in California, and almost certainly not within Verizon's network, which could have a significant impact on your experience depending on their peering agreement.

Who cares where I'm pulling content. CR isn't providing enough. My tests where Dom both nj and ca. So unless the content servers are in Japan I should have in interrupted consistent service.

Point is I.pay for premium service BUT I get same service as I would a non premium user.

My only benefit is I get to watch choppy sd quality new released content. So what am I paying for?

AS THE SERVICE IS NOW, It's not worth paying for.
