Very good point! It's so sad and true. What's really weird is when I'm at work with a sometimes 3mbps wifi connection, I have better quality and no choppy goodness. But my 79mbps from home gets me crummy service. It makes no sense!!!

Internet test from LOCAL NJ an long distance CA are the best you can get. Its NOT my internet

The CDN server you're hitting is likely not located in California, and almost certainly not within Verizon's network, which could have a significant impact on your experience depending on their peering agreement.

Who cares where I'm pulling content. CR isn't providing enough. My tests where Dom both nj and ca. So unless the content servers are in Japan I should have in interrupted consistent service.

Point is I.pay for premium service BUT I get same service as I would a non premium user.

My only benefit is I get to watch choppy sd quality new released content. So what am I paying for?

AS THE SERVICE IS NOW, It's not worth paying for.

I couldnt agree more... Whats the point of me having Premium if I cant use it at my desktop...

Hey, fuzzy911, sorry for the late reply. Support has recently been more behind than usual due to a high volume of tickets and a low number of staff, and we're trying hard to catch up. That being said, we do want to actually help everyone who sends in a ticket and get them back to watching. If you send an email over to [email protected], I'll take care of it personally and we can handle this step-by-step to see if we can get things back on track for you.

I am experiencing stuttering choppy playback as well over many days with a 30/5 connection. I filed my support ticket and they responded within a day with a sorta boilerplate clear your cache and reinstall flash. I did. Mostly the same problem, sometimes stuttering playback sometimes fine.

Video plays fine but then, It will freeze up, then spits out frames at like one very 2-5 seconds. Then either catches up, or doesn't, say like 40/60%. No rhyme or reason. I have to go through congentco to get to crunchy roll and they drop occasional packets and also randomly lag a packet 400+ms, also 15 hops. idk, I've paid for a month and love being able to watch some stuff in clean HD while being semi legit to the artists.

I've been a member just shy of 6 years now, and watch half a dozen or more shows a week on average. I've gotten very used to being able to tell when the issue is on my end, or on CR's end. Right now the issue(s) are definitely on their end.

I've tested at two different locations locally (home and work) with two different ISPs. Both locations have 50mbps+ connections. Multiple computers in both locations as well as a Samsung smart tv, all capable of 1080p playback no issues, and I can watch 1080p on other sites no problem.

I've had good luck recently using the Plex plugin, being able to watch 1080p perfectly fine (while through the CR site proper it's never worked well for me, like never). But the past two days have been junk, I could barely watch a 480p stream yesterday and even then it kept pausing and buffering.

Honestly I don't see a point in a ticket, there's nothing that can be done other than the issues clearing up on their own or by CR adding some additional bandwidth/CDN sites.

Same issues here, last month I could stream 1080 without any issues, now it's a struggle to even get 480p. No issues anywhere else, can still download things at my maximum speed which is 100mbps, I've also tested this at my shop which has three times that speed, same issue. I can download a 10GB file in less then 10 minutes but can't stream anime.

Well played
