Have any? How do you deal with them?

Mine is a total tool. He's an ex-drug addict who gets on my nerves and is such a hypocrite.

Woah, woah, Phersu! You say. Discriminating against ex-drug addicts?

Nope, and I really should put 'ex' in air quotes, since he still smokes pot everyday. I discriminate against him, not ex-druggies, because he's a total tool. He even broke part of my blender.

So, he knocked over my blender I was soaking in water and basically wanted me to clean it up. I did nothing and let him do it, which he complained about and kind of made me feel insulted. So, I called him out on it. Then this happened.

'Are you going to stop leaving your blender out with water in it?'

'Are you going to stop being an ---hole?'

'I'm not changing.'

'Then I'll keep leaving it out.'

He then knocked it over, chipping some of the plastic off the bottom, while saying oops. I did the same to something of his.

Seriously, though. How do you deal with roommates?

Discuss.

No way. If it's a fight, he's throwing the first swing so I can claim self defense and stay in the dorms.

Make him hit you once, capture it on a video with a camera hidden in the room somewhere, then beat the shit out of him saying it was self defence.

I don't have any... unless you count my dog. So... I guess you pet them and feed them treats when they behave?

I thought about just giving it to the RA, and be all like....

I had flatmates when I was 19-21 having just moved away from the family home. It was nice because I mostly got on with the others. There were problems with the neighbours downstairs and I'd have found it a nightmare if I happened to live there. I've since got my own place and grown used to having things my own way. I won't be going back to sharing with flatmates. We used to keep the place clean and never took each other's things without gaining permission. The only time there was drama was when one of my flat mates (I think the flatmate was persuaded through blackmail to move) swapped with one from downstairs for a few months. This one would take things without asking. She'd strut around naked and we're talking an almost 6ft extremely busty plus size girl here. She do that even when we had guest and the other flat mates boyfriend was visiting. Fortunately for me I'd always just miss her exhibitionism. She took my other flatmates kitchen ware and use it in the bathroom so there's no way the other flatmate would use it again in the kitchen. My sweet mild manner flatmate brought out a side I'd never seen before. She'd refer to the new one as the elephant. My big sis came in looking shell shocked one day, she'd been let in the flat by the naked one. I was in my room so I didn't have to see anything.

Find out if you can do a swap. The only problem is that you don't know if the new person is going to be better or worse than this one. You could just bear it since it's temporary.

School dorms. Don't think you can swap, but boy would I.

PS - Was she attractive? I could get used to an attractive six foot naked woman walking around an apartment I had.

Yes she was and she had this high pitched girly voice. She had a harem of guys which she never told her boyfriend about but he soon got tired of her cheating and left her. Everyone else was sad to see him go because he seemed like a nice guy. She also set us all up on blind dates so she'd have something to gossip about. We were all teens just left home aged 16-19 she was 21-22 and had left home years ago. She basically told the guys she'd got a houseful of virgins for them.

Don't forget to yell at them when they eat it, because you were saving it for later.

I run a security system for a university housing. Oh the random things that happen.
Personally i could never handle random roommates, i just lived with my cousin and collage friend.
To this day we still play board games.
I am a big things that you should have one main thing in common before you ever starting trying to live together.
But sometimes you don't have that option.
