depends how fast the cyclops opens and closes its eye, blinking is almost instant and winking normally lasts for a second. Reminds me of morse code for some reason

If it's a voluntary action it's a wink. If it's involuntary it's a blink or a tic.

if a biclops closes both eyes at the same time, they arent winking, yeah? I think winking literally means closing one eye and leaving the other one neutral, so i guess all cyclops can only blink....a sad reality for sure

I think it depends on the speed of the blink / wink. if its slow and deliberate its a wink and if its fast
maybe its blinking?
