So... whos been reading the manga? I have and I love it. I've seen signs that there is a possible anime in the works. It might just be an oav though.

The seiyuu in the promo video that Ichijinsha made sounded pretty good for the girls too.

That would be great if that was the case as I love the manga. Though I won't get my hopes up until i see an official announcement. I would like to know these signs that you've seen though.

It's most likely referring to the promo video that was released today, but this is not the first time we have gotten an anime for a yuri manga... I can't image that hiring seiyuu to voice characters in a PV is cheap so Citrus is certainly doing quite well (speculation, I know).

If we do get one, I am not expecting it til the end of next year at least. >.> Remember how long it took after the Sakura Trick anime was released?

I've been following this and posting on it via my Yuri Club Thread over on Hummingbird.me

I really don't think the announcements and PV have any relation to a potential anime. It appears that the PV truly is nothing more than a promotion for the 3rd volume which went on sale November 18th for Japanese markets. (Yesterday in Japan)

You can watching the video by following the link above or here.
Keep in mind that the video is raw (no subtitles) and contains large spoilers from the first two volumes.
Official Yuri Hime Twitter Page
or
Youtube Page

Volumes 1 - 3 are available on Amazon for pre-order. I believe Vol. 3 is the last volume.
Volume 1 ships - 16th December 2014
Volume 2 ships - 7th April 2015
Volume 3 ships - 18th August 2015

Saburo-sensei also posted a tweet, but it was only to promote the PV and to give thanks.

I'm sure there will be an omnibus somewhere down the line as well, that will be a while though.

I'm reading it, can't say I love it though I like the artwork. Of the on going ones right now I'd rather see Stretch and Collectors get some attention. (I know Stretch is stretching those yuri boundaries but it's a fun slice of life no matter how you look at it.) But, I have to say that there are a lot of other solid yuris (how do you plural that one?? ) that, imho, are far more deserving of an anime than Citrus (and also because they are finished and not still on going). Sasameki Koto, Girl Friends, and Octave are mangas that would be great seeing adapted in an anime with Sasameki Koto getting completed. There are also a number of, what I like to call, short stories that I would love seeing receive animes as well. (Mostly works by Otsu Hiyori, Morishima Akiko, and Takemiya Jin.)

It's probably the only yuri ive read that i haven't dropped after a half chapter. The artwork alone could keep me reading it, but the story is also surprisingly good. One of my favorite manga to this day, so if this gets a anime, i would go hug a random person on the streets.

Have you read Girl Friends? To this day, it is the best yuri manga I've read.

I have enjoyed what I've read of Citrus--but I would love to have any of Milk Morinaga's manga made into an anime. She's considered the primo mangaka for the genre, isn't she?

I suppose you could saay that but there are a lot of other authors out their with solid stories themselves. Otsu Hiyori, for example, is my all time personal favorite and I tend to compare everyone else with her work. I would also say Morishima Akiko and Amano Shuninta are two other well established writers with quite a number of one shots and stories under their belts as well. I just think Milk set the bar with Girl Friends which I find to be an alright story imho.
