nah, fox girls take priority.

Anyway, i see no real practical use for GENETICALLY making cat girls, the process of trial and error is going to be seriously ugly and probably inhumane.

If its to be cute, make a set of cat ears that can twitch and move by reading electronic brain signals that also matches the color of the person's hair tone so it looks like an actual part of the person's body instead of looking like a prop.
If you are seriously going to splice cat and human genes together, im pretty sure the military would be working on it to make some cat ninja supersoldiers. but its probably not pretty...nor cute.

Well, Japan already made electronic cat ears that respond to you emotions via brainwaves.

Why? Is it a bad thing to want catgirls, or to wish for fantasy thing that will never exist? People usually discriminate against nerds because they're strange, but that is never a good reason to discriminate against anyone. Unless it is threatening strange, but you know what i mean.

Yes, it is bad.

Unless it's Makoto Tachibana, then it's ok, because he's male, and it's not sexist to objectify men.

Wait a minute, so we can't adore catgirls because it objectifies women, but you are able to adore cat men because it is not sexist to objectify men? Sorry, my BS detector is going off. Beep Beep.

Nope. However as a scientist (synthetic biology) I'm all for more funding in science.

I saw that article.I thought that they only got the tail to do that. huh. anyway, it still looks like a prop, doesnt really look like a part of the body.

Cats have excellent night vision.....why would they use their hearing to run in the dark?

Yes there are issues of morality here. Scientists had made glow in the dark monkeys by taking a gene from a type of jellyfish and implanting it into the melatonin genes responsible for fur/ hair color. They've done this for many other animals as well cats, pigs etc. They wanted to try it on a human fetus one point. Can you believe the public outrage. They were angry starting from the beginning with the monkeys. Of course the human thing was immediately scrapped and laughed off a joke. The limit stops way before glow in the dark humans, there is no way catgirls are gonna become a thing. the issue of morality, these are living beings they have feelings as well. "catgirls" are human if they are created they shouldn't be treated as lab animals and should have a choice before becoming a freak of nature thanks
