Worst character in Super Smash Bros

This is probably because of my playstyle in every game (speed-type attacks and such. Speaking of which, I don't see why everyone hates Sonic on Brawl, although that's a tangent I shan't tange upon today.), but I can't use Bowser or Ganondorf. They're both so slow. Bowser's a bit better because his flame breath allows him to have more range, but it's not a huge difference.
I wish I was better with slow characters; Ganondorf's one of my favorite villains. Such is my curse~
