I'm hoping that I selected the right category for this, and if I didn't then I'm sorry.

Anyway, when I use the Crunchyroll app on my Kindle Fire to watch videos, I see a symbol displayed on the screen that I'm not sure what it means. It only shows up along the side right as the video begins playback, and after the playback controls disappear from the screen, so does the symbol along the side. The symbol won't show up again after that, even if I bring the playback controls up again or swipe either down from the top of the screen or in from the right of the screen to exit "full-screen mode" that started with the recent Fire OS update. It's located in the top right corner and looks like a screen with signal waves being emitted from it.

I think it might be for if you're watching on a tablet and want to stream it to a smart TV that has the capability to do so, but I'm not sure. Can anyone let me know if I'm right in thinking that or, if I'm not, tell me what it might be?

Here's a screenshot I took of it:

Thanks for any help that you can provide!
