It has affected every part of my life. Basically it consumed me, and changed me for the better imo. Anime made me focus harder in school, and helped me meet my girlfriend . I'm never bored because I always have a huge backlog of games and anime, and it helped me connect with who I really am, I know it sounds super cheesy, but I feel like the real me comes out when I talk about new shows and games with the few friends I do have. People judge me before they know me for it, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I've definitely been watching more anime compared to regular TV as a result since really getting into it. I've played some games here and there but it hasn't really change my habit of playing all the time (It's been rare actually). Same goes for manga. I haven't been keeping up on a few of the titles I already read now.

I haven't touched my T.V. in a long time now.
It has impacted me so much that I think I spend way to much time on my computer playing games, watching videos, watching anime, and reading manga.

My life is built on gaming. Since I was 3 years old I wanted to make games, and now that I'm 18, I'm in university on a course to learn how. My life would be completely different without games and that's no exaggeration.

Anime and manga are important for the current era of my life. Growing up on the internet; I actually looked down on anime and manga as something for weeaboos. Since I discovered Vocaloid; I gave anime a 2nd chance and became obsessed with it. If you trace my life back you could consider that anime made 4chan culture (I'm not certain on it) though and if that's the case then anime is responsible for the internet culture that makes my personality. I am a newgrounder and we are clearly influenced by 4chan.

From what I've speculated through my experiences, Mexican and black people love Dragon Ball Z. And with that in common, I guess that's how I started making friends. Thanks Akira Toriyama

If I had of never seen anime I wouldn't have met my friends. If I had of never met my friends I wouldn't be the same person that I am today and I wouldn't even be alive.

Well, I'm the President of the Anime Club, upon which I created myself after the former Otaku club collapsed, and I'm becoming a writer in college (which I would have done anyways), but now I'm gearing myself towards writing for animation in hopes of creating anime-influenced story-lines in the U.S. (to clarify, I mean a cartoon that take after anime, like Avatar the Last Airbender did, basically something with a more serious, better developed plot-line that go beyond the sitcom).
