Have you ever read a manga and became satisfied about it that you decided not to watch its anime adaptation?

There are times anime doesn't capture the vibe I get when I read mangas like Gantz, Kyou Kara Ore Wa, Naruto, etc.

There are times anime do justice, for me, like Claymore.

How about you?

Gantz. Skip beat.

For me it's more about not wanting to see the same story twice.

But the flowers if evil anime adaptation is amazing... If all anime adaptations put their own interpretation, it would be worthwhile to watch the story again.

Isn't something, right? Sometimes why I even bother to watch these new Lord of the Rings movies when I know already that Frodo would toss that damn ring in a volcano at the end. They should start at part one then two till six. Not where they show part four, five, and six then they'll show part one, two and three.

Magi

The Sinbad adaptation is good though.

It's just too fast paced in my opinion

No. Even if the anime adaptation is utter shit, it may still amuse me through how shitty it is.

I would always name Noblesse in this regard. I love it as manga and really really don't want it to be made an anime.

I usually don't watch the anime if i've read the manga or vice versa.

Usually when I read the manga I lose interest in the anime because I already know what's gonna happen.

I will normally either watch the anime or read the manga. Which ever I stumble across first. Then wait some time and watch or read the other. It refreshes me on the story and I still get that nice satisfaction once I am done.

My example at this moment is I watched the original Gundam series 0079 along time ago. Now I am reading the manga(I know there was not a original manga for this but still). Another Example would be I watched say "I love you" some time mid this year. Now I am reading the manga.

Nope. Gotta see it in action if it's satisfied me enough.

I'm so satisfied with anime that I decided to never read the manga sources.

I don't really mind if it's a Shonen Manga, 'cause you get to see more action, right? But for Shoujo, sometimes I don't really like the Anime Adaption. There's just something that doesn't fit, I don't really know.

I'm not directly opposed to watching an anime if I've already read a manga which the anime was based off of, but generally it seems that if I've read the manga, there is less motive to watch the anime once I've read the manga since in most scenarios where the manga is the source material, the complete story is known already.

When I read a manga after seeing its anime, 97% of the time I'm more satisfied with the manga. There have been times when I decided to watch the anime of something even if I've read the manga first.

Black Butler. I've heard stories about the second season that make me avoid it like the plague.
