Anybody getting or playing this title? I have to go collect my shipment by the end of the week but won't be able to play until exams are over - middle december.

Just curious what people's intakes are for this game?

I pre-ordered the game but I'm having second thoughts. I love the Persona cast but I'm not keen on the first person, Etrian Odyssey style of play (for the dungeon crawling, anyway).

I've been playing it pretty much all night, and I have to say, it's great!

The fusion of Edrian Odyssey first person dungeon crawling/map making into the core Persona 3/4 experience has been quite refreshing so far. I'd highly recommend it to any ardent Persona fan, as it retains what makes Persona great whilst fusing it with new gameplay mechanics not yet seen in a core Persona game. This entry is certainly the next best thing we'll get until Persona 5 drops next year.

Sadly, I haven't played any Persona games in my life. So hopefully I can pick this game up when there's a price drop in the future.

I have been playing it for a couple hours, and i do really enjoy it.

However, I'm not the biggest fan of the first person perspective while in the dungeons. That was also my only problem with the E.O games. which i still loved.

Great banter between casts. Very funny and entertaining. I brought it to work with me tonight and will be logging some more hours in it for sure..

Bought the premium edition as well as the Persona Q 3DS for the pure aesthetics. I loved Persona 3 & 4 as well as the fighting Arena games, so I had to give this game a try. So far I'm loving it. I've never played a Etrian Odyssey game but if this is a cross between that and Persona (playing style) then I should probably give that franchise a try as well.

The Puzzles are fun but can be a bit challenging. The FOEs are a pain in the neck if you don't get their movement pattern down.

I totally would have traded in my current 3DS for the Persona Q themed one if not for the impending release of the new 3DS model next year. It seems kinda pointless picking up a new 3DS at this point in time.

I have the premium edition, but I have yet to actually play the game yet. I'm waiting to be done with my semester and then I was going to play it during my Winter break. Oh, the anticipation

I like it though, like other people have been saying, it does feel like just Etrian Odyssey slapped with a Persona set of paint. Currently I'm enjoying it, though on occasion it does feel like it's dragging on. Plus the, obvious though I'm not sure, romance of Rei and Zen is kind of annoying.
