The xbox one app sucks balls I think you need to change the firmware or the entire software because everyone has the same problem just change the app entirely same with the roku app

It works fine for me, so it's not "everyone."

Does everyone have the problem? No. Does a majority have the problem of the app crashing because of queue size? Yes.

It's extremely obvious that he was just generalizing it and you just simply wanted to be an ass.

The workaround this dumb bug that they've refused to fix, is make sure you quit the app (start-->quit), uninstall, turn off the xbox for a few minutes, turn it back on, install, and when it finishes installing, hit the power button on the controller to open it that way, and it should work. If you open the app any other way, it's 50/50 on working.

I'm having the same issue. Plays fine on my Xbox 360 but not Xbox one. Kinda annoying when paying for a service can't really use. Is this bug going to get a fix seems to have been going on for a long while now!

Yep the same thing happens to me too. Every time I want to use the app, I need to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working again.

Add me to the ever-growing list as well. I've had this crashing issue since they launched the app. Sadly the above mentioned work around cannot apply to me because no matter how many times I have uninstalled/reinstalled this app it has never given me a "quit" option.

Are you launching Crunchyroll through the Xbox Logo button?

My work around has had a 100% success rate for launching the application since I started using it. I've also found that pinning a series to the home screen works as well.

I am glad to know that it is not just me because i was getting really pissed at it i would be in the middle of a season, and on a random episode it would just stop the screen would black out or it would freeze on a commercial. i love having the ability to watch it on my tv with no lag or anything but this just pushes all kinds of buttons.

I use crunchyroll by going to the app channel that's the only way it works on my Xbox one also try pinning a show to your home screen that's worked for me aswell

I have the same problem. Almost two years and nothing has been done?! That's how much Crunchyroll cares about us, awesome.

OK, this worked for me.

Select the crunchyroll app, do not launch it!
Press the Menu key on your controller.
Select Manage
Select Saved Data and Delete All.

I've been having this issue for the past several weeks. What happens is the video hangs either at startup or a commercial break due to a server glitch, but when you try to reload, an invalid time stamp is given to the settings, so it can't properly resume. If you log out and run the video from the start, it works. All crunchyroll needs to do is give us an option to start a video over, or better yet, start at a certain time stamp.
